City of Blood follows the life of Theo Vardi, a young man born into the chaotic and brutal streets of Vardani, a city overrun by violence and corruption. In the 1990s, the country is gripped by lawlessness, where the lines between survival and crime are blurred, and teenagers dream of becoming ruthless criminals.
At the age of 13, Theo is already caught in the web of street violence, petty theft, and violent showdowns. Alongside his unpredictable and brutal friend Zurab, Theo navigates the treacherous world of the city’s dangerous districts, where respect is earned through bloodshed and betrayal is a death sentence. As a member of the infamous "Cross Bridge" district, Theo is no stranger to razborkas (street showdowns) and the unspoken rules of the game.
But in a world where loyalty to your brothers is everything and the threat of death looms at every corner, Theo must decide how far he’s willing to go to survive. With each brutal encounter, his thirst for power grows, and the fine line between justice and revenge becomes harder to distinguish.
