First, I’m no Superman—I don’t do heroic deeds. Second, I’m far too comfortable living my drama-free life to jeopardise it now. And third, let’s be real, my body is definitely not built for a catfight. As I happily munched on my sandwich, enjoying the chaos from a safe distance, I made a grave error, I locked eyes with Ari. Oh, crap. Picture this: while the two idiotic boys were still mid-argument, Ari—with a slightly shy smile—started walking towards my direction, her tray of food balanced in her hands. No, no, no. From the income, added to the scholarship that he had received from his impressive performance, he was barely able to carter for the school fees of the two of them and the daily expenses. Williams majored in photography and videography while in the university. This something that he had always dreamed of. Steve on the other hand comes from a high-class family. He is the typical rich young master. Just like Victoria, he was pursuing journalism and happened to be in the same class. he chased after Victoria, only to be rejected by her. Nevertheless, Steve never gave up. And, rather than using his family background to get her, he preferred to get her love in the most valid way possible. There exists a fate between two people amongst the three. The strings of fate are pulled to bring them together. Just look in the mirror your whole existence is an insult to me" he near my bed side a physcopathic smile on his face. "It seems your father knows how to pick them. Fiesty, warrior and untouched? Mhmm he sure knows how to pick them" he ran a finger across my chest. The cloth burns away at his touch leaving a line exposing my breast. Narrowing my eyes at him, I try to extend my wings but stayed in their place. "Are you done yet?" "Master was right. No shame at all, he'll surely enjoy you, little angel, my name's Cleus, but you can just call me Death" with a wink a black circle appeared. Cleus walked through, the chains rattled and turned before I was also going through the black circle. Chains, it was never an accessory we hand the pleasure of wearing but humans did wether it was mental or physical they wore it. Some with their head held high others allowed it to drag them down. For me, it was uncomfortable and it would be much appreciated if they didn't exist at all. We soon entered Hell, the kingdom of damned souls, who enjoyed sins to the fullest in the mortal world, now here they are for eternity, maybe theyll learn to enjoy the torture as much as they once enjoyed sins. We enter a room that smelt of death and desperation.  It looked like one of the jail cells on earth, Cleus pushed me in and closed the gate. My face comforted the floor with it's warmth, as the chains tighten around my body. Coughing a scream left my lips, bones felt broken and I felt forsaken what have I done to meet this misfortune. I soon lost consciousness.

Obviously, it's been done before: Homelander, Omni-man, Brightburn. However, none of these especially go into the mind of those characters. They're either psychopaths, had a bad childhood, loyal to another planet etc. So I wanted to portray a character that is a normal person, gaining powers whilst no one else does and seeing how the world reacts to them and what I believe would happen. I want to portray how their mind changes, their biases and beliefs. Whether this is done well is for you to decide. I’m an amateur writer, doing this as a mixture of practice and entertainment. The chapters may take a while to come out, but I like to spend my time on them – perfecting them to the best of my ability. The book will likely be a couple of hundred chapters long and completed no matter how long it takes. I’m trying to improve my English skills to a reasonable degree so harsh criticism would be much appreciated... within reason.
