The Cursed and Blessed
The Cursed and Blessed follows Sekai, a young, bronze-ranked adventurer bearing the blessing of Nature’s Bond, which grants him control over plants and the ability to communicate with animals. Set in a world where divine blessings and godly curses are woven into the lives of many, the story unravels the fates of those both gifted and cursed by the gods, forcing them to walk a razor’s edge between power and peril.
Sekai leads a band of unlikely heroes known as "The Cursed, the Forgotten, and the Rejects" individuals bound by shared misfortunes and mysterious abilities. His party includes Sekigan, a blood manipulator cursed with insatiable bloodlust; Mei, a half-dragon with shifting elemental powers; Asuka, a warrior haunted by a curse that keeps her closer to death than life; and a handful of other adventurers with their own dangerous blessings and afflictions. Together, they brave deadly dungeons, unpredictable allies, and powerful enemies, each encounter revealing more of the gods’ cryptic motives and the high cost of divine favor.
But as Sekai’s party faces monsters, mercenaries, and the darkness hidden in their own hearts, they also uncover a deeper conspiracy one that threatens not only their own survival but the very balance between gods and mortals. In a world ruled by blessings and curses, Sekai and his party must fight for a future where their fates are theirs to shape…if they can survive long enough to seize it.
