The circle is one where physical appearance is generally anonymous and you are known by your online handle and your voice. Gu Sheng, a relatively unknown online singer who goes by the handle Sheng Sheng Man and who specializes in cover songs of ancient-style music, is a huge fan of Qiang Qing Ci, a very famous and well-loved CV (character voice) artist (i.e. dubber, voiceover artist). It was like, love at first listen. One morning, she was chatting with a friend in her online “room” when his voice suddenly appeared in her headset, describing to her in detail how to prepare a food dish she had been talking about. This began their online chats about food. Gu Sheng can scarcely believe that she is talking to her idol, and he seems to be trying to progress the relationship further.

[upbeat music playing] [Scene opens with an image of Earth in the vastness of space] Bold red text on the screen: "2077 - Start of the New World" [Screen fades into an old news report] News Reporter: "Tonight's top story, a new company, 4horseman, has emerged, consisting of the world's finest minds in VR, AI, engineering, psychology, physicist, and various other fields. They have announced their seclusion to prepare for the new world. The world eagerly waits to discover what this mysterious company is working on." [Screen fades to black] [Voiceover in a confident tone] Voice: "We sent the world a warning." [Scene fades into another old news report] News Reporter: "And in other news, it has been six years since the 100 founders of 4horseman disappeared after their statement of seclusion. Some speculate they are waiting for an apocalypse, but that seems far-fetched, wouldn't you say?" [Screen fades to black] [Voiceover in a determined tone] Voice: "You mocked us." [Scene fades into another old news report] News Reporter: "Are you old enough to remember the legend of the 4horseman? A recent tweet claiming to be from them simply says, 'It's coming.' This tweet has sparked a generational Twitter storm. Let's take a look at some of the responses." [Twitter feed appears on the screen with different user handles and comments] @PrincessPeachy: "What's all the fuss about? These old dudes failed and hid in shame. No mystery here." @4horsemanTruthSeeker: "This seems fake. It doesn't fit their MO. They were all murdered after working on a government project." @SteveRogers: "I remember when they disappeared. I hope this is real, and the wait was worth it." [Screen fades to black] [Voiceover in a commanding tone] Voice: "Where here." Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. [Scene transitions to depictions of a post-apocalyptic world] [Images show cities in ruins, but still recognizable by small noticeable landmarks] [Medieval-style towns and cities with NPCs going about their day-to-day lives and bartering] [Close-up on an NPC's face revealing a small red crystal on their cheek] [Upbeat music reaches its peak] Bold white text on the screen: "The New World Has Arrived" [Screen fades to black

(Voiceover) People say that time heals all wounds, but I do not agree. what if the wounds don't heal properly? Like when cuts leave behind nasty scars or when broken bones mend together but aren't as smooth anymore. Does it mean they have healed? What if the scars you can't see are the hardest to heal?
