Hero's Prelude
"A hero is made through sacrifice. With enough sacrifice, the gods will bestow that person with heroic powers to save the world or lead it."
Heroes are natural occurrences in the world, almost every generation, there will be a hero born. However being a hero isn't granted for free, when one becomes a hero, they receive a task from the gods. It must be accomplished otherwise the hero will be cursed.
There are different kinds of tasks, from the simplest ones such as helping a village survive through the winter or to raising a country from the ashes. But the rarest task is to slay.
The current generation's hero, Raymond, is tasked to slay a demon that will appear in his city. And this demon is none other than her daughter.
Will he be able to uphold his duty or will he be cursed?
