Archbishop Castlevania

The First Vampire: A Journey Into The Supernatural

The story began when Lucifer grew bored. This led him to decide to create a superior race to his father's, for his own entertainment. This race would surpass humans in every aspect, but there were still limitations to what he could achieve. For instance, he couldn't deceive the sun, a natural force belonging to his father, God. He desired a race that could outwit and behave like humans in order to deceive his father's masterpiece, but he couldn't create it in the same way as his father. Therefore, he opted for a shortcut - creating a disease known as vampirism. The main character becomes the first vampire, obtaining the blessing from Lucifer himself. In the year 646 A.D. in a small village in The Frankish Kingdom, a young albino girl named Carmilla lived in fear for her life. In those dark ages, her unique appearance meant almost certain death. Confined to the basement of her house, she had never seen the world beyond its walls. Her parents kept her in chains, showing her no love or kindness, except for her sister Anna, who was her only source of comfort and care. However, tragedy struck when fate cruelly took Anna away. Alone and desperate, Carmilla prayed for salvation, and in her darkest moment, an unexpected blessing came from the Seraphim Lucifer. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ In my novel, Carmilla will embark on a journey through different time periods, facing great dangers along the way. She may encounter historical figures such as Vlad The Impaler, visit the Lancaster duchess, and possibly even travel to Brazil. The story will be filled with numerous historical events, some of which will be altered while others may not occur at all. The supernatural world will be rich with a variety of folklore from real life, some of which I may create myself. Elements such as werewolves, sorcery, faith bearers, pagan gods, and more will be included. I draw inspiration from real world legends and events, and will also introduce some original creations of my own. Many of the vampire characters in the story will be influenced by existing vampire literature, such as Castlevania, Vampire: The Masquerade, Count Dracula, and others.

Fatal Revelation: A Righteous Crusade In Asphodel

In the world of Asphodel, a tale rides the breaths of its people. It sings of an Inquisitor, an exorcist of great renown. In the Elysian Orthodoxy, many tell of the one raised by the Interrogator. The little monster to the Exalted Butcher, his eyes pierce through the veil of the material world, as if they had seen the peerless void beyond space and time, and travelled between its infinite bounds. Unfeeling and unmoved, many even doubt his existence. Many say he has devoted his life butchering the evil that lurks about the murky shadows, to inspire great fear, so that they don't even dare leaving their caverns in the underworld. He fights for the Lord, his mind tempered by the muddy flames of evil, and his spirit guided by hallowed light. "Is that what they say? Ridiculous, this has gotten out of hand." "It is. You've garnered quite the reputation, yet this-" "-is not favorable to an Inquisitor, I know. What can I do? You know I don't focus on anything else when I'm fighting, people just-" "-happen to see, I know. It's a bad habit. But forget that, you have a new assignment." "About time." "We have detected movements from the Holy Ankou Sovereignty. The Archbishop suspects demonic activity." "Investigate?" "And deal with it. I trust you, go on." - - - - - A reincarnation story centered around the question, "Why do main characters just ignore the implications of the existence of an omnipotent being?" I felt that was an unexplored element in all these stories, so... let's see what happens, shall we? -Also posted on Royal Road- - - - - - This is a work of fiction. The Shattered Flower

In a fierce battle, Bossia helps Kegira defeat a Dragonmaw orc, but Kegira is gravely injured by shrapnel from an explosion. Before dying, Kegira asks Bossia to bless her, and despite no longer being a paladin, Bossia offers a prayer. After Kaigira’s death, Bossia, weighed down by guilt and exhaustion, leaves the battlefield, cutting her scorched hair and carrying Kaigira’s keepsake—a golden key. Earlier, Bossia had clashed with Kegira over the key, which led the military priest Angelo to mediate. Angelo was troubled by Borgia’s loss of faith and deeply concerned for her spiritual well-being. During the battle, Bossia gradually comprehends the brutal nature of warfare and, after surviving a near-death experience, begins to confront her inner fears. While stationed at Menethil Harbor, she and Kegira have an open conversation about their pasts and regrets. Bossia reveals that she gave up her paladin status due to the wrongful condemnation of her lover, while Kegira admits to her own regret of never becoming a paladin. Eventually, Kaigira’s death prompts Bossia to temporarily reclaim her paladin status, earning the praise of the archbishop. She refuses Angelo’s suggestion to “rest due to injury,” leading to a confrontation in which Angelo falls to his death from a cliff. Seeking to escape her past and religious constraints, Bossia decides to hide her identity, sell her armor, and board a ship to Theramore, determined to start anew in anonymity.
