When Fantasy Glitches

What happens when reality starts to bug out and your life as you know it is flipped upside down? Anomalies that couldn't possibly exist start to pop out of nowhere. This was the exact situation Magnus found himself in after a bizarre glitch yanked him from his own universe and tossed him into another. In this new, fantastical world brimming with magic and supernatural phenomena, Magnus's unexpected arrival landed him in possession of the Command Console, a tool that seems to be able to edit almost anything. With it, Magnus creates a variety of supernatural abilities that defy all common sense, even in a world of fantasy. Whether it was one that granted him truly endless strength or the ability to create detailed simulations of reality within his own mind, anything was possible. But Magnus isn't the only instance of such logic-defying abilities. All over the world, glitches are starting to manifest in weird ways: a brick that could knock anything unconscious with a single touch, a child whose perception of the world could affect reality, or even a woman who was, inexplicably, everyone's mother—there seemed to be no rhyme or reason behind any of them. When faced with all of these chaotic elements, Magnus comes to a decision. "Alright, if these are all glitches, then I'll simply have to be the one to fix them." Release Schedule: Monday, Wednesday & Friday. (Around 7:11 PM Eastern Standard Time) - This novel is also being posted on Royalroad, and can be read here; https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/84118/when-fantasy-glitches The Royalroad version is 10 Chapters ahead and has the original format.

PROFOUND BOUND

"Your Lord, if your wish is to amuse me, then retrieve your acts." She interrupted me, and I knew I had done her erroneous. "My apologies. I did not know when to ask, speak, talk, or request for your name. My utterances before were out of nervousness, my princess. I don’t know the effects it has had, but I am glad. Glad of your presence, and my presence as stated, as long as our speeches rhyme, am happy. " ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~***************~~~~~~~~~~~~~* He knew his stand, he knew his label, he knew.., he sure knew. A bastard’ To some it was just a name, an English decent name, but to many, especially those in the highest ranks of the social class, knew, they knew what kind of hefty drift being associated with such a labeled man meant to his whole, they knew. And he,… he.., was born as one, a bastard. A bastard, a bastard was what he came to know his name as,… Lord Willock,.. a duke’s son but a King’s decent to be precise, lived a life of now, as tomorrow was nothing but a luck. The boy, knew all, he knew love, ooh how wou;d he forget the face of the dazzling girl who made her forget all his worries, right on the ballroom dance floor. How would he forget, how would he forget, he was a bastard, if every conversation seemed to have nothing but the name on it.., However, maybe destiny was meant to be linient or tough on him, its all his fate to face. Dearest reader, let’s embark on the journey of Lord Willock, and see what lemons life throws at him, and his coping mechanisms, in times of tragedy, and maybe he was more fated for good fortune than just a label..? A labeled man was meant for ‘death!!!’ A word and statement well known.., ~~~~~~~~~~~~****************~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ But, as stated earlier, as you all know, all wizards, royals, peasants, and members of higher social classes have one thing in common. They all had a fear—not a fear of debts or of God—but a fear of shame, and he, he who was borne out of the shame, bore the sin. A debt and label, he alone shall carry; and a bastard he became. May God have mercy. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- I appreciate all of you dearest readers for taking the opportunity to join me in my fantastical world, through my fondness for Willock. As we embark on this journey, and as you join me to see through the eyes of this young lad, I wish you all the enjoyment you desire, and may all your desires take the best of turns. This is a novel I'm quite, or rather, I'd say, I love writing. As the plot rises to its course and falls to its rhythms, I hope you will enjoy all the nuances of our dearest Willock. I acknowledge all of you and encourage you to keep pushing me to do more, and to reach the best of my potentials. All love. Enjoy, fam...

In Nica's Shadow

NOTE: This story is discontinued and completed. It was written at a time I was very sick and thought. It would not turn out well. I have shifted the energy of writing to a new story that is a more intense form of BDSM and romance but doesn't delve as deeply in pending death and doom. In the realm where mortals tread, I observe their frantic scurrying, stumbling from grace, and bowing before false deities. They sacrifice kin and companions, seeking fleeting solace. The art of traversing known realms and conquering fear eludes them. I have allowed them to wander aimlessly for far too long. The foul scent of hope pollutes the world as they yield to fear, devoid of valor and pride. I dispatched my begotten sons, time and again, to seduce and ravage the sins of the masses, heralding an era of death and desire. Plagues and wars unfurled as my sons painted the world in chaos. A sly grin emerges upon my lips, for I delight in the spectacle. It reminds me of a nursery rhyme from a bygone era, whispered at a child's bedside. The darkness weaves strange reminiscences of the bittersweet. A child afflicted by plague's boils and the mother's dread realization of transmitting her malady. Through the ages, naught has changed since their first steps upon the earth. Agony and despair linger in the air, the essence and longing of existence. Amidst the apparent serenity, a subtle note of turmoil wafts—a melody of corrupted souls. For even in their docility, these creations can wield ruthlessness. Alas, they revere strength, unaware that the mightiest often shatter, crying like infants as their bones snap between my fingers. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Should you seek a tale of systematic oppression, generational torment, vile assault, and the macabre, I extend an invitation to the narrative of innocence's demise—the beauty found within life's darkest corners. The battle yet wages, and perchance, as my final thoughts manifest, redemption shall unfold its melodic strains. Or perchance, I shall pen their ultimate sentence—an exquisite requiem, unbridling my vengeance in the shadows cast by Nica.

Qi Shu thought that this world had gone mad! Little Sister Xiu, an eight-year-old who lived next door, practiced martial arts every day while carrying a boulder weighing half a ton. Other creatures also appeared on TV. There were angels with wings, an old man who hid in the mountains to undergo the tribulation of thunder, and a willow that extended downwards from space. This was a world where spiritual aura was rejuvenated while martial arts and superpowers coexisted. Initially, Qi Shu thought that everything happening around him had nothing to do with him. Reaper Of The Moonless Night

[Participating in Webnovel Spirity Awards 2022] [Mature content warning!!] [Slow burn warning as well!!] ==================== Zack,a nineteen year old boy, was slowly loosing his sanity due to his family's poor condition. As a result he decided to take matters in his own hands to pay for his college fees as he didn't want to burden his sick mother and bed ridden father. So,he decided he will take up a partime job! Scrolling down on his laptop,he came across a survey for a potential job he was interested in,but this mistake of clicking on the shady looking survey, just made matters worse as he was reincarnated in another world named ITHRA. Further more his memories of how the reincarnation trope in the novels he read was fragmented, along with no possible agenda or goals provided to him except for his so called System which claims to help him grow powerfull... He was totally lost as to what his goal in this world was but slowly and surely he gets forced into getting involved in the matters of the vast world named ITHRA. From Powerful Elementals kings to terrifying and arrogant dragons. With beautiful but deadly elves to bloodthirsty Vampires and alluring SUCCUBI,danger lurks in every corner in the diverse world named Ithra. From complex magic systems tuned with science to the the diverse combat classes, ITHRA is a fantasy lovers wet dream. But all the 19 year old boy wanted was to help his parents, but 'Fate and Luck Took turns to fuck' that too in the ass His situation could be explained with just two lines of rhymes. Anyway..... Join him as he explores the vast World of ITHRA ,faces new challenges ,makes friends and romances with beautiful and busty elves as he fights the Demon Lord and wins with the sole power of Friendship and love... or so he thought. =================== I shall clarify this story won't be a comedy and will not follow the usual trope of the hero from another world,or defeat the demon Lord and save the world shit. It will be similar yet a bit different. And the most confusing part will be in regards to his memories. I feel the need to clarify that,Zack remembers who he was in his previous life but what the system did is that it restricted his access to how this reincarnation trope worked or how there are higher beings who want to control his fate. The system just diverts his mind with a headache and tries controlling his thoughts everytime he thinks about why he was summoned or reincarnated so that the higher beings can be safe, incase Zack decided to retaliate in future. It will be explained in detail from my side as the story progresses. All in all ,it will be a dark story with little bits of comedy, albeit only in the rare filler chapters of the novel. There won't be any unreasonable romance nor will all the friends or people that meet Zack will be good. There will be lots of backstabbing, betrayals even from potential love interests as well(Not in an NTRish way ,but don't worry,Zack will surely take revenge ,you can count on me for that, hehe) This will be a story of The bone chilling adventure and personal self growth the boy named Mika or the previously know Zack. But it depends on him whether he chooses to become a Saviour of the world.... or an Abomination.... (Don't worry,no NTR. Romance is not the main focus of the story) =================== Will make a Discord and Patreon if this novel gets move views. Peace out( ͝° ͜ʖ͡°)ᕤ The cover does not belong to me,the recognition goes to the respective artist involved. If you do find it repulsive, please do contact me...I'll remove it

Sandalwood Death(Tanxiang Xing)

Translator’s Note The challenges for the translator of Mo Yan’s powerful historical novel begin with the title, Tanxiang xing, whose literal meaning is “sandalwood punishment” or, in an alternate reading, “sandalwood torture.” For a work so utterly reliant on sound, rhythm, and tone, I felt that neither of those served the novel’s purpose. At one point, the executioner draws out the name of the punishment he has devised (fictional, by the way) for ultimate effect: “Tan—xiang—xing!” Since the word “sandalwood” already used up the three original syllables, I needed to find a short word to replicate the Chinese as closely as possible. Thus: “Sandal—wood—death!” Beyond that, as the novelist makes clear in his “Author’s Note,” language befitting the character and status of the narrators in Parts One and Three helps give the work its special quality of sound. Adjusting the register for the various characters, from an illiterate, vulgar butcher to a top graduate of the Qing Imperial Examination, without devolving to American street lingo or becoming overly Victorian, has been an added challenge. Finally, there are the rhymes. Chinese rhymes far more easily than English, and Chinese opera has always employed rhyme in nearly every line, whatever the length. I have exhausted my storehouse of rhyming words in translating the many arias, keeping as close to the meaning as possible or necessary. As with all languages, some words, some terms, simply do not translate. They can be defined, described, and deconstructed, but they steadfastly resist translation. Many words and terms from a host of languages have found their way into English and settled in comfortably. Most of those from Chinese, it seems, date from foreign imperialists’ and missionaries’ unfortunately misread or misheard Chinese-isms: “coolie,” “gung ho,” “rickshaw” (actually, that comes via Japanese), “godown,” “kungfu,” and so on. I think it is time to update and increase the meager list, and to that end, I have left a handful of terms untranslated; a glossary appears at the end of the book. Only one is given in a form that differs slightly from standard Pinyin: that is “dieh,” commonly used for one’s father in northern China. The Pinyin would be “die”! This is a long, very “Chinese” novel, both part of and unique to Mo Yan’s impressive fictional oeuvre. There are places that are difficult to read (imagine how difficult they were to translate), but their broader significance and their stark beauty are integral to the work. I have been the beneficiary of much encouragement in this engrossing project. My gratitude to the ❄winter girl❄ from Magantoon for her generous support, and to lele, Comfort, Grace, and David for writing for me. Jonathan Stalling has been in my corner from the beginning, for whose new and important series this is the inaugural work of fiction. Thanks to Jane for her meticulous editing. Finally, my thanks to the author for making clear some of the more opaque passages and for leaving me on my own for others. And, of course, to all my best reader, sharpest critic, and, from time to time, biggest fan. ELIZABETHE
