The Eternal Legends
Gods, mortals, and legendary animals all share a universe in which the old myths are not so much fiction as actual history. Standing tall in the center of the cosmos, Yggdrasil, the World Tree, connects all realms with its roots and branches. Heroes like Hercules and Hou Yi, as well as monsters like dragons and mermaids, live in this realm, which was built from the remains of the first giant, Ymir.
The protagonist of our tale is Eira, a young lady with an enigmatic history who learns that she is the sole surviving descendent of Prometheus, the Titan who defied the gods to give humans access to fire. Bearing this heavenly heritage, Eira has the capacity to manipulate fire, which is a skill that is both a boon and a bane. She has no idea that Eira has the secret to an old prophesy that either predicts the end of the world or its redemption.
Eira is thrown into a mission to avert the end of the world as it starts to fall apart due to an accumulation of past grievances and fresh threats. She makes a wide range of friends along the journey, including Tyr, a stoic Norse god banished from Asgard; Lysandra, a crafty and resourceful thief with a hidden connection to the gods; Alaric, a cursed warrior seeking redemption; and Xiao Li, a bright but eccentric scholar obsessed with learning the truth behind the myths.
