Infinite Flow: ML… Where TF are You?! [BL]

AUTHOR NOTE 14.05.2024: Hello all! Sorry for the long wait, I wrote myself into a literal corner and realised I have to retcon a few things in arc 4 before I can move on with the story. Will try to get this fixed in the soonest! Really sorry for the wait TT o TT **** Infinite/Unlimited Flow horror BL novel Might be a parody. And MC might be a villain.... 1v1 Introducing: A suicidal and bored MC and… wait, where the f&?! is the ML?! *** Lam Thanh Van believes it’s about time someone ended his miserable life. But being an immortal has hindered his path to Hell. Scratch that, Hell is off limits with the terrifying speed his body stitches itself back together, no matter how much someone might hack him to pieces. With such a long and torturous life of trying to finish himself and failing miserably, he imagines that his death would be grand, like slaying a dragon - or a very persistent cockroach. Now, the only problem was finding a hero worthy of such a cause. *** [The last player has arrived. Players, prepare for briefing.] [Welcome to the annual 2023rd survival championship.] The grand doors to the dome slowly pulled close, drawing everyone’s gazes over to the lone figure standing by himself, like a rabbit frozen in the headlights. In front of the sea of players, fawn eyes dilated with fright. Fresh tears still clung to the lashes that framed the eyes so green they reminded the people of ocean waves crashing to the white sandy shore. Long limbs were clad in a simple T-shirt with a pair of washed-out jeans hugging his slim waist. Messy lavender hair and snow-white skin tinted with faint pink seemed ethereal in the scene. Like a magnolia tree growing in the desert… or a white lotus sprouting from a pile of bullshit. One brave individual broke away from the herd, cold eyes set on the last player. ”Stay with us if you want to live.” Lam Thanh Van raised his gaze up to the looming man, green eyes drenched with tears, his lips trembling as he could only muster a nod. [All players, scenario one will commence now. Good luck and try not to die.] —— When nothing is as it seems - who can you trust? ML: Not the author, that’s for sure. The synopsis is just one huge clickbait- *Author smacks this insolent child with a hardcover edition of the Bible*: Quiet, you! Or I won’t let you appear even after the halfway mark! MC: … You evil bish!! —- T/W: This is mature content. A sprinkle of horror, a teaspoon of gore, topped with a handful of clownery. Some papapa is added as a garnish at the end. Consume at your own digression. A/N: This is an original work by LinShui. The cover is not mine, as I have negative skills in any illustrative art. Will commission for a cover when I’m no longer a broke bish. Do let me know if this is your art and you want to take it down, thanks! #unrequitedlove

The Monster's Bride

I have one request, please "I said but he said nothing . "Can I see your face?"I asked. "Why ?"He asked. "We're married. I should at least see the face of the man am married to" I said. "Is my face the reason your sister refused to marry me instead?"He asked and I shook my head. "Not at all . I willingly came here, I don't even think a good to do man is gonna come for me anyway . My sister is prettier and more skilled than I "I said. "In other words, your king sent the ugly and unskilled daughter to me" He said. "You've misunderstood. Am not ugly neither am I unskilled. My sister just happens to have more of it and my father isn't aware am here in place of my sister. I wonder how you found out "I said with a raised eyebrow. "Go to sleep, Avery. it's late already "He said and I sighed in relief . "Your face?"I asked. "Its up to me to show you my face "He said and I nodded. I removed my bangles and ornaments and dropped them on the table then turned to see a handsome man with blue coloured eyes. How long did it take the gods to sculpt his face, his face looked so smooth and without a single boil. "Can I touch your face?"I asked. "You didn't let me touch you "He said and I chuckled . "How about we just touch our faces"I said and he scoffed. "I can't spare you after touching your face alone" He said and I nodded. "How come you're handsome?"I asked and he raised an eye brow . "I mean. You're supposed to be ugly" I said. "Is that what you were expecting?"He asked. "No. I meant everyone said you were ugly and your face is filled with boils and you're crippled too "I said. "So?"He asked. "You don't have any of that "I replied. "So what lesson did you just learn now?"He asked. "Don't believe what people say without seeing for yourself "I replied. "You didn't even state it right but that's by the way. Go to bed now" He said. "Are we going to sleep on the same bed ?"I asked. "Aren't we married?"He asked. "Yeah . We are but sleeping on the same bed this night? I think we're rushing things "I said. "No one told me king Lazarus has a parrot for a daughter "He said and I frowned . "I don't talk much. Am just surprised by the turn of events. If anyone told me last week that am gonna be married this week I would have called the person a joker "I said. "I see. So what were you intending to do with that dagger ?stab me to death?"I asked. "Nah. I just wanted to scare you off but I don't know how you found out "I said and he chuckled. Even his chuckle is handsome as well. His black hair complements his handsome face. "I found out my dagger was missing the moment I came into the room . Who else will have it but a girl scared her husband will force himself on her "He asked and I smiled . "I love your vibe "I said shamelessly. "I let you see myself for a night and it got you drooling and loving my vibe. If I let you see it for a week then you'll wish I was your baby sitter " He said. "Your face ain't that handsome. I have a male friend that is way more handsome than you. You're gonna drool if you see him and wish he will be your bride" I said and the door suddenly opened. "That's enough talking for the night. Sleep" He said, my eye lid turned heavy and I lost consciousness. ** *** ** Liam rumoured to be the monster king is an immortal who's seeking for a way to end his unending life after losing his mate, Isla. The Gospel of John

The Gospel according to John is quite different in character from the three synoptic gospels. It is highly literary and symbolic. It does not follow the same order or reproduce the same stories as the synoptic gospels. To a much greater degree, it is the product of a developed theological reflection and grows out of a different circle and tradition. It was probably written in the 90s of the first century. The Gospel of John begins with a magnificent prologue, which states many of the major themes and motifs of the gospel, much as an overture does for a musical work. The prologue proclaims Jesus as the preexistent and incarnate Word of God who has revealed the Father to us. The rest of the first chapter forms the introduction to the gospel proper and consists of the Baptist’s testimony about Jesus (there is no baptism of Jesus in this gospel—John simply points him out as the Lamb of God), followed by stories of the call of the first disciples, in which various titles predicated of Jesus in the early church are presented. The gospel narrative contains a series of “signs”—the gospel’s word for the wondrous deeds of Jesus. The author is primarily interested in the significance of these deeds, and so interprets them for the reader by various reflections, narratives, and discourses. The first sign is the transformation of water into wine at Cana (Jn 2:1–11); this represents the replacement of the Jewish ceremonial washings and symbolizes the entire creative and transforming work of Jesus. The second sign, the cure of the royal official’s son (Jn 4:46–54) simply by the word of Jesus at a distance, signifies the power of Jesus’ life-giving word. The same theme is further developed by other signs, probably for a total of seven. The third sign, the cure of the paralytic at the pool with five porticoes in chap. 5, continues the theme of water offering newness of life. In the preceding chapter, to the woman at the well in Samaria Jesus had offered living water springing up to eternal life, a symbol of the revelation that Jesus brings; here Jesus’ life-giving word replaces the water of the pool that failed to bring life. Jn 6 contains two signs, the multiplication of loaves and the walking on the waters of the Sea of Galilee. These signs are connected much as the manna and the crossing of the Red Sea are in the Passover narrative and symbolize a new exodus. The multiplication of the loaves is interpreted for the reader by the discourse that follows, where the bread of life is used first as a figure for the revelation of God in Jesus and then for the Eucharist. After a series of dialogues reflecting Jesus’ debates with the Jewish authorities at the Feast of Tabernacles in Jn 7; 8, the sixth sign is presented in Jn 9, the sign of the young man born blind. This is a narrative illustration of the theme of conflict in the preceding two chapters; it proclaims the triumph of light over darkness, as Jesus is presented as the Light of the world. This is interpreted by a narrative of controversy between the Pharisees and the young man who had been given his sight by Jesus, ending with a discussion of spiritual blindness and spelling out the symbolic meaning of the cure. And finally, the seventh sign, the raising of Lazarus in chap. 11, is the climax of signs. Lazarus is presented as a token of the real life that Jesus, the Resurrection and the Life, who will now ironically be put to death because of his gift of life to Lazarus, will give to all who believe in him once he has been raised from the dead.

Great American lady

Book Details Language : English Publication Date : 12/28/2020 Format : Softcover Dimensions : 6x9 Page Count : 128 ISBN : 9781664149663 Format : Hardcover Dimensions : 6x9 Page Count : 128 ISBN : 9781664149670 Format : E-Book Dimensions : N/A Page Count : 128 ISBN : 9781664149656About the Book There is a massive amount of historical information available about Marian Anderson in over twenty biographies, her extensive personal papers at the University of Pennsylvania Library, the National Marian Anderson Historical Society's Residence Museum, various PBS documentaries, the Smithsonian Institute, the Internet and undocumented verbal stories that have circulated in her home town of Philadelphia for years. Researching her long 96-year life was an exciting privilege, but time-consuming. Those who may remember Marian Anderson as simply a "great singer," are probably missing 90% of what this trailblazing humanitarian's contribution to our society really accomplished. Readers of this condensed chronological compilation can now more quickly realize, and learn to appreciate, the teachable lessons of Marian Anderson’s well-lived long life---possibly in just one or two sittings, stimulating further future study of her from the above sources and the list of books included in the Appendix. At one time the press consistently covered Marian Anderson and she was written into history books, but that is no more. If students do not learn about her and people don’t talk about her, they forget. Through a series of events, in March of 2019, I discovered the National Marian Anderson Historic Society that is headquartered in the Anderson Family’s home, that is now an official historic residence museum, in my hometown of Philadelphia. It took me a few more visits to begin to absorb what is there. After each visit, I left with mixed feelings of awe, newfound respect, and embarrassment…. How could I, having lived in Philadelphia for so long---not far from the very home Marian Anderson purchased in 1924, now a museum---in a neighborhood I went through frequently, have absolutely no idea that I was passing in the vicinity of such greatness? After reading Marian Anderson’s autobiography, my hunger to know more lead me to discover over twenty other biographies from excellent books for school children up to several well-researched works by distinguished scholars. It is with the latter academic group that I have principally drawn on to compile and condense
