Turning Tides : The Rise of Drevenica
What began as a strangely dim morning quickly turned into a nightmare when air rockets, mistaken for extra suns, rained down on the peaceful city. Panic erupted as the rockets devastated the land, killing thousands. Amid the chaos, a young boy desperately searched for his family, only to find his father and sister dead and his mother fatally wounded. She died in his arms, leaving him completely alone.
The boy survived, along with only a few of his friends, and witnessed the horrifying aftermath in a hospital filled with victims of the attack. The aggressor was revealed to be Velmora, a powerful neighboring country that forced Dravencia into a crushing treaty, costing them two-thirds of their land.
Told as a bedtime story by a grandfather to his grandson John, this emotional tale explores the pain of loss, the trauma of war, and the enduring hope for justice. Though the war officially ended, for the boy, the battle within never truly stopped.
