"Simula bukas kailangan ko na maging matapang ka, tatagan mo ang loob mo, lalo na kung pagkagising mo ay nakapikit parin ang mga mata ko," pagpapatuloy na habilin ni Daniel.  Hindi ako nagdilat ng mata pero nagpatuloy ako sa tahimik na pag-iyak. "Hanggang sa muli nating pagkikita, sweetheart, Ara, mahal ko," si Daniel na muli kong naramdaman na hinalikan ako sa noo. Noon ako nagdilat ng paningin saka ko sinalubong ang maiitim niyang mga mata. Bigla ay parang nakita ko ang lahat ng sinabi niya, na muli kaming magkikita at kahit kailan ay hindi na magkakahiwalay pa. "Hanggang sa muli, mahal ko," sagot ko bago ko itinaas ang aking ulo saka siya siniil ng isang mainit na halik, sa pinakahuling pagkakataon.
