Lukas, a book-loving teenager from Earth, dies sacrificing himself to save others. His final act catches the attention of a powerful deity, who grants him a second chance—one he never asked for. Reborn as Zed, a nine-year-old noble who mysteriously fell into a coma a year ago, Lukas finds himself in an unfamiliar world steeped in Rhu, ancient conspiracies, and impending war.
