this story sets off in a world called Ashyn (the year is 2029, the date is January 12th and that's where this story will begin, Tomas is going through life as a 17-year-old kid in a relatively small city called Sunhaven. he is currently staying in a shabby 2 bedroom apartment is the back alley. flashback (his family all passed away in a fire when he was 7 years old so his only family left was his estranged uncle Jake and so Jake reluctantly took Tomas into his home even though he didn't have much he took care of him till now) back to the present, his uncle Jake is sick but loves Tomas dearly now as Tomas is about to turn 18 and has to step up to the table and help provide for them even if that means deceiving his uncle by saying he is getting money from awards at school but in reality, he's working a part-time job but life doesn't always go to plan when Tomas's birthday rolls around he finds a frighting side of himself that's stayed hidden for the past 18 years.....
