Kang-Hyeon would have been better off if he knew that the Fanghound Guild was never trustworthy. However, it got the better of him. It was supposed to be an easy gig. One where you translate the runes, undo the seal, and let it be. But it did not play out like that. The moment the tomb responded to him, so did the blade. He left behind a crumbling structure, where he should have met his demise, but his narrative does not set him up like that. Something drew him back.
