I am a traitor who deceived her kingdom for twenty years,” she muttered, the pain of betrayal overwhelming her. She fought many battles her father couldn't and brought back victories, yet everyone didn't hesitate to turn their back on her, including her father! “Supporting family? People at my beck and call?” He sneered. “Do you even know what it was like having a heart disease? Do you know the pain of being useless? If you think you know, give me your heart and take everything!”

He was not just a thief; he was an alchemist, transmuting my breath, my sanity, my lips, my very essence into a fantastical reverie. For me, for us, he descended like a divine droplet in a parched desert, his proximity an oasis that bloomed within the barren spaces of my heart. ^^^ "Falling Like Season" is a prose poetry piece that explores the emotional landscape of a romantic relationship through the metaphor of the four seasons.
