Vanilla: Love, Hate, and Betrayal
Dana Patson’s life takes a dramatic turn when a customer suffers an allergic reaction at her bakery. Corey, a loyal regular, saves the day with his quick thinking and EMT skills. Dana is grateful for his courage but she's suddenly drawn to him in ways she can’t explain. Their connection deepens, but as Corey’s dark past comes to light, Dana’s simple life begins to get complicated.
Unbeknownst to Dana, a man obsessed with her has been watching from the sidelines. When Corey becomes part of her life, the man’s jealousy boils over. He sets fire to Dana’s bakery, destroying the one thing she has dedicated her life to build. He feigns concern and steps in to “help” Dana rebuild, even as he works to drive a wedge between her and Corey.
The truth about Corey’s past, and his family, soon surfaces. Dana learns that Corey’s father is responsible for the car accident that killed her parents years ago. Dana starts to question everything she thought she knew about Corey. Meanwhile, the man pulling the strings uses Corey’s parents to manipulate and threaten Dana.
As the man’s obsession turns into violence, Dana and Corey must fight to protect their love and their lives. But can they overcome the sins of the past and the threats of the present, or will the truth tear them apart forever?
