Eternal slumber
Glocara tends to the ailing Mareni at night and declines Tusha's offer to assist in exchange for food and lodging, maintaining caution and fearing he may have ulterior motives. Although she eventually accepts Tusa’s help, she still forbids him from approaching Mareni. Later, Lassander appears, questioning why Glocara cares for his “already dead” daughter, leading to a heated argument, with Lassander threatening to punish her through Lord Silversnap. Glocara feels deep guilt, believing she caused Mareni’s coma, and begins to open up about her inner turmoil during conversations with Tusha.
Subsequently, Lassander tries to seize Glocara’s clinic using his influence, resulting in a public confrontation. After Lassander disappears into the sea fog, rumors circulate about his whereabouts. Over time, Mareni tragically passes away, and Glocara performs a sea burial for her. In the end, Glocara allows Tusha to move into her clinic, and the two quietly return to their lives.
