Does Giveaways Really Work

You Really Do Have Beautiful Eyes

In some worlds, magic is a mere fantasy—where humans live without powers. In others, like mine, magic is an undeniable reality. But in my world, there's a twist: only males are supposed to have magic. That is, until I was born. In the kingdom of Dalatine, each newborn's eyes reveal their magical ability and their allegiance to a church—grey for wind, blue for water, hazel for earth, red for fire, yellow for light, and black for dark. But my eyes are golden, a colour no one has ever seen before. And with that, my fate was sealed. Feared of my very existence and hated for my gender, I was locked away in my family's mansion for fifteen years, a prisoner within an unbreakable barrier. The barrier not only kept me from the world—it suppressed my magic and cloaked my true appearance from those who cared for me. Until one fateful day, a stranger with fiery red eyes saw through the illusion. “You really do have beautiful eyes,” he said, shattering the silence of my life. That moment set me free—free from the mansion, free from the illusion. For the first time, I could step into the world I’d dreamed of: the Magic Academy. But reality is far more dangerous than dreams. With enemies lurking in the shadows and my very existence a threat to the kingdom, I must uncover the truth about my power—and about who I truly am—before it's too late. The question is, can I survive long enough to unravel the tangled web of secrets, lies, and deadly conspiracies?

The Hero Does not want to be a Hero

Kail, a 23-year-old customer support agent, found himself in an unexpected predicament – he was somehow transported into the world of his beloved RPG game, "Stopping Ragnarok." To his astonishment, he wasn't alone in this bizarre adventure. Eight other players, supposedly the chosen ones destined to rescue the world within the game, joined him on this quest. Their mission? To thwart the sinister forces threatening to eradicate humanity in Terra Mercuria. It all sounded quite epic, at least in theory. However, as they delved into their adventure, reality quickly dispelled any grandiose expectations. The warrior turned out to be rather, well, twinkish, not exactly the imposing figure Kail had imagined. The mage had an odd fascination with dark magic, which was more intriguing than practical. The healer, a girl, had an unexpected twist – she possessed an anatomical surprise that defied convention. The Rogue, meant to be stealthy and ruthless, was far too polite and kind-hearted to fit the bill. The Ranger, whose title suggested environmental awareness, displayed a conspicuous disregard for nature's well-being. The Paladin, expected to be virtuous and noble, seemed more interested in flirting than righteousness. The Necromancer, a master of the undead, harbored a comical fear of his own creations. And then there was the Hero, the one designated to lead this motley crew. To Kail's surprise, the Hero vehemently rejected his role and instead clung to Kail, the Bard, as if he were a lifeline in this absurd world. So, while their mission to save Terra Mercuria remained a noble pursuit in theory, the reality of their adventure was shaping up to be quite the comedic spectacle.

Eternal Flame trilogy (my original work)

"I don't believe you." I answer him calmly, trying to convince him that I know that he was just spewing bullshit to make me go crazy, that this is all just a sad pathetic joke. This can't be true. "In fact, I don't believe anything you've said to me." I say more to try to convince myself, although I'm starting to question everything, but he doesn't need to know that. He just smirks, looks too proud of himself and begin to walks backward, away from me. "You don't have to believe me, darling. You'll see for yourself, soon. Very soon." It sounds much like a promise of the unknown future that they stop me on my track. Goosebumps spread all over my hands and the back of my neck. A bad premonition clouds my my heart. No, wait. What's with him? Does he think that he is a fortune teller too, now? Am I supposed to believe his words, no question asked? The fact that I'm considering any of his words are just enough prove that I'm indeed going insane. No, he is insane. And maybe, I'm a tad bit desperate to find answers to all of this mess that's my life these past few weeks. And he's taking advantage of it, I'm not sure how he knows but I'm pretty annoyed that he could sways me easily like this. I need to stay the hell away from this nuisance. Just as I'm about to turn around and forget what he says, he decides to say something that I will remember long after my journey begins. "In fact, never believe in anyone, Elena. Not even The One's above." are the last word he says before he turn around and completely disappear from my sight. His words leave me puzzled and speechless. I don't know what to think anymore. All of this new information only further my confusion as it is. If any of what he says turn out to be true then what's meaning of this? I don't know anything anymore. Only one thought clouding my mind. What in the world is going on?
