Ultima's Bite!

(AN: Give my novel a try until ch12 please!) New Current Schedule - Minimum 2 chapters / a day Mass Release Target - 40 golden tickets ________________________________________________ [Novel synopsis]; In a world scarred by the rise of biomechanical warfare and the shadow of an enigmatic syndicate known only as Ragnarok, one girl stands at the edge of revolution. April, a seemingly ordinary 20-year-old living in the fractured remnants of a future society, hides a past drenched in trauma and secrets. Blinded and deafened during a harrowing attempt to escape her abusive father—a man who destroyed her family—April is forced into a life of silence and darkness. But everything changes after an experimental surgery implants nanotech into her skull, technology far beyond anything humanity should possess. Now, April sees without eyes and hears through a new kind of sense. The nanotech has awakened a dormant potential in her—a coded sigil etched behind her head shaped like an angelic wing and a spear. It’s not just a symbol. It’s her Gear, a powerful combat system linked to ancient animalistic and Zodiac powers—each wielder embodying a creature of legend. Hers? A spear-born sigil capable of shattering mechs and bending digital space. When she joins a covert organization aiming to dismantle Ragnarok, April discovers she’s not alone. Other Gear users fight beside her: Jax, the brilliant strategist; Saya, the deadly calm blade; Kai, a hawk-gear user with a fire-forged past; Dante, the powerhouse with unmatched resilience; Juno, the data genius cloaked in mischief; and the Leader, a figure shrouded in mystery who knows more about April’s past than he lets on. As April navigates brutal missions and high school halls alike—where rivals like Tessa Lane threaten her sanity with cruel mind games—she must balance normalcy and the battlefield. Every encounter pushes her closer to the truth: about her powers, her family, and Ragnarok’s true purpose. But none are more telling than her growing connection with Astra, a lone Gear user with platinum hair and a piercing gaze. Astra has the power, the knowledge, and a burning desire for vengeance. April needs her—but Astra isn’t so easily convinced to join a cause she doesn’t trust. The deeper April digs, the more the lines blur between ally and enemy. With Ragnarok’s agents—like the cold and calculating River Hoss—looming on the horizon, April must decide who she’s willing to trust, who she’s ready to fight, and how far she’ll go to protect what little she has left. The world doesn’t need a hero. It needs a weapon. And it just found one.

Zealous Zodiac

Increasing might and unending endurance under the scorching sun, thickened skin harder than a diamond, and bodily fluids turning into lethal toxins; are a few examples of powers within a Zeal. A birthmark that forms a distinct symbol representing one of the twelve Gods known by the people as the Zodiac. Zeals are the ultimate gift, for aside from the superhuman ability, its bearer could wield magic based on the element of the God who bestowed them their mark. Although Nusterra is an isolated continent, surrounded by raging and stormy seas filled with monstrous beasts, it is a vast land overflowing with natural riches and mana. Nusterra has a long history of war and bloodshed. Twelve kingdoms emerged to power and for a long time, war with each other reached a deadlock. But, animosity turned to cooperation and an agreement of peace was made after an event that almost wiped out humanity. It happened more than a millennium ago, in the era known to man as the Age of Insanity. Chaos ruled over the land, making both beasts and man succumb to madness. Many thought it ended then, but its crumbs started to show itself and increased through time. A thirteenth territory, the nation of Decatris, was formed at the center of Nusterra after the Age of Insanity, serving as the symbol of peace between the twelve kingdoms and its enforcer. Now, with the growing cases of maddened beasts, Aeneas, a boy from the Proud Lion's kingdom of Pantera, aims to become a knight and a hero despite not bearing a Zeal from any of the twelve Zodiac Gods. __________________ Daily Update Schedule: 12:00 P.M. A copy of *The Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam* lay near, its spine cracked open to a code no one could read. Letters arrived, encrypted and biblical, sent to newspapers like warnings. Elion Hayes Book One: The Beast Rings

Elion Hayes never planned on being hunted. He was just a university student scraping by, no real direction, no grand purpose—until a night out turned into a waking nightmare. Because apparently, were-beasts or beast-men are real, they’re everywhere, and they don’t appreciate humans getting in their way. Now, Elion is on the run with a 'cowboy' from another world (yes, really), a best friend who’s way too excited about all of this, and a growing list of reasons to regret every life choice that led him here. At the center of it all? The Beast Rings—ancient artifacts infused with the power of monsters. Some grant strength beyond human limits. Others corrupt, turning their wielders into nightmares. And the Lord, the shadowy figure pulling the strings, plans to unleash thousands of them across the world. Elion isn’t a warrior. He doesn’t have some legendary bloodline or divine blessing. He’s just learned about Mana Gates and barely unlocked the first three of the 118 Mana Gates that allow someone to tap into their true power and to control the Beast Rings. Before he could gain any real progress, the Lord’s most elite enforcers—the Zodiacs—and all kinds of beast-men are already closing in. The mission? Retrieve the corrupted Beast Rings before they fall into the wrong hands. Defy the Lord’s plan before the world is overrun. Survive long enough to figure out why, out of everyone, he’s been thrown into the middle of this. He and Jordan may not have been prepared for any of this, but their new ally, Ronan, isn’t giving them a choice. If they don’t fight back? The world as they know it is done. What to Expect: [+] Weak-to-Strong Protagonist – Elion starts at zero, but survival means learning fast. [+] Shapeshifters & Monster Battles – Think were-beasts, but worse. [+] Clear Progression – Unlockable powers, evolving abilities, and high stakes. [+] A Race Against Time – The Beast Rings are spreading, and humanity is not ready. [+] Ancient Powers & Forbidden Arts – 118 Mana Gates to unlock, each one unlocking something deeper. [+] Humor Meets High-Octane Action – Snark, survival, and a world that doesn’t play fair. [+] Massive World-Building & Hidden Secrets – The Beast Rings didn’t start in this world… and neither did the war. The first mistake? Getting involved. The second? Thinking he has a choice.

The Ten-Day Apocalypse

The protagonist, Qi Xia, awakens in a strange room with nine others. A humanoid sheep informs them they must participate in a special game—to create a god like Nuwa. Their first challenge is "The Liar," where each must recount their last memories before arriving. As they exchange stories, they realize they come from different provinces and all died in an earthquake, suggesting a global catastrophe. After four rounds, they win but do not return to reality. Instead, they step into a ruined city filled with death—the "Land of Ruin." A humanoid dragon explains that to escape, they must gamble against the "Twelve Zodiacs" wearing animal masks and collect 3,600 "Dao" within ten days. As the game progresses, Qi Xia’s teammates die one by one, revealing that in their final moments, they awaken supernatural abilities—such as pulling objects from empty containers. This phenomenon, called "Echo," allows them to manipulate reality in small ways. On the fourth day, Qi Xia is also killed but unexpectedly wakes up the day before entering the Land of Ruin. He relives the earthquake, returns to the interview room, and finds his wife has disappeared from the real world, leaving no trace of her existence. The Land of Ruin was created by powerful figures who followed an ancient book detailing methods to obtain supernatural abilities. Their goal was to create a god, using over a thousand souls who were originally meant to descend into hell as test subjects. However, the highest authority, Tianlong, defied the original plan, believing he should be the one to ascend. He abandoned the god-making project and instead made a wager with Qi Xia. Qi Xia either loses (or does not lose) the bet and has his sorrow sealed. However, before his defeat, his power surges, and he declares that all fallen participants will return and that the Echo-bearers will overthrow Tianlong. Because of his words, all the deceased revive on the eleventh day. In the second grand cycle, Qi Xia loses his sorrow and can no longer awaken his ability, "Everlasting Vitality." This weakens his efficiency in looping through time. Meanwhile, Tianlong fabricates a lie that collecting 3,600 Dao will allow them to escape, stalling for time. Qi Xia, desperate to find another way out, even attempts to become one of the Zodiacs. He starts as a Human-Sheep, and after killing many participants, ascends to the status of an Earthly Sheep. However, as he is about to become a Heavenly Sheep, Tianlong deceives him, erases his memories, and resets him to a normal human—thus beginning the main story. Through countless loops, Qi Xia allies with others who have awakened Echo abilities, battling Tianlong and his forces, including the Zodiacs and Divine Beasts. They must not only survive deadly games but also uncover the hidden secrets of the Land of Ruin, all while navigating betrayals, tests of trust, and human nature’s complexities. The story’s climax is full of twists. The first major revelation is that Qi Xia had already become a god. The entire novel is actually his second loop—his first rebellion failed, Tianlong destroyed the Land of Ruin, and Qi Xia was the sole survivor. In eternity, Qi Xia used his godlike power to recreate the Land of Ruin, reviving the Zodiacs, Divine Beasts, and participants, setting the stage for another battle against Tianlong. The second twist reveals Qi Xia tricks Tianlong into a dream, using his power to create a new world where everyone’s wishes are fulfilled. However, this world cannot contain Qi Xia. In the end, he sacrifices himself, exchanging his despair for everyone else’s happiness.
