His complex relationships, particularly with his childhood friend Mira and others he meets along the way, test the limits of his empathy and morality. The narrative dives deep into themes of revenge, manipulation, ethical dilemmas, and the blurred lines between heroism and villainy. As Vincent moves his pieces against Zenith in this grand game, the story reveals the cost of becoming a monster to fight a monster. "Game of Pawns" is not just a story of revenge but also an exploration of human psychology, influence, and the impact of a corrupted sense of justice. Life and supernaturals played a game with Nathaniel, so now he plays games with humans. If they lose they are captured in his cards for all of eternity, and if they win ; Nathaniel owes them a favor. Nathaniel has a habit of writing diary, one night he writes a story of a boy named William James. Liam short for William was a trouble-maker, he liked to challenge life with death on the line. For his 18th birthday he and his only friend "Sebastian" decided to go to the cave, famous as "The cave of death". They managed to pass through it but something went wrong and they were teleported to a castle. William James an orphan, finds out that he is an heir and soon will be in charge of supernatural creatures. He fell in love with, treasure (Spirit) and his friend fell in love with Luna (wearwolf) , not knowing that someone else was already in love with them. But before he could take the reigns, he was betrayed and now Nathaniel seeks revenge because that story he wrote was based on true events. Why does Nathaniel seeks revenge and how was Liam betrayed?
