A Mary-Sue's Guide to Character Development
Keorian Kane was born into a world that loved her more than anything. Adopted into a family with a golden spoon in her mouth; Keo had a doting father, caring servants, a kingdom under her thumb, and powers beyond what anyone could begin to imagine to possess. Adoration has been at her fingertips from the moment she popped into existence.
"I love you."
She'd heard the words thousands of times, and still it would never get old to her. No matter what she did, no matter how poorly she acted, she was loved, and she always would be.
At least that’s what she thought.
Keorian’s life is turned upside down when on her 12th birthday she’s pushed to her death by her very own guard and best friend only to wake up in an unfamiliar world where she’s alone, powerless, and uncared for.
Scared and defeated, Keorian is forced to fight her way through this unfamiliar land and learn to exist in a world that doesn’t care if she lives or dies.
After all, what's a girl to do when she’s killed?
She lives.
