To Love A River

In a dystopian future where Vampires emerged from the shadows in order to stop humanity from becoming extinct, a young woman with a dark past meets a charismatic stranger. As time goes by Private Love Aikawa of military Unit 4-7, finds that she may not be as human as she first thought. Battling rogue vampires, mutated creatures and her own past, Love works to unravel the mysteries behind the secretive Helsing unit, and tries to become the bridge between humans and vampires in a world filled with discrimination. This novel starts intentionally slow through the exposition and the early world and character building, BUT everything kicks into gear after the turning point in the latter half of Volume 1, and especially Volume 2, where the tone of the novel shifts. So, I hope you stick with it and enjoy the wild ride! I also added some song recommendations along the way to listen to whilst you read certain chapters, I hope this helps boost the experience. Public Spotify playlist titles (all under the name LouLou): TLAR - Book 1 TLAR - Book 2 TLAR - Book 3 TLAR - A Fire in Their Wake This is rated 'No one under 17 permitted' for (very) mature themes, including drug use, SA, LGBTQ+ discrimination, very frequent strong language, violence etc. Please note that no storyline is chosen for shallow shock value, and most are taken from personal experience, and hopefully handled with the care, respect and sensitivity they deserve. Disclaimers are added against any chapter that may cause distress. The majority of Volume 1, in a different order and edited as a full novel is available free on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/c/Loulou2

Malone Mercedes was just a programmer who was sleep-deprived, overworked, and drowning in bug reports. He helped build Eroge Souls, an R-18 soulslike H-game infamous for its brutal difficulty, corrupt world, and unapologetically lewd content. Because right after he died he soon find himself in familiar place. Not in heaven. Not in hell. But inside the very game he help build, as he was transmigrated into the body of Ren Hal Asauron, also known as the wonder. A legendary being blessed by the Free Throne. With the Demiurge long gone, the Seven Sins. Lust, Greed, Wrath, Sloth, Gluttony, Envy, and Pride have become twisted gods, flooding the land with depravity and chaos. And rise into a divine position as the new Demiurge. And each Sin will do anything to keep Sauron from claiming them. Armed with the secret knowledge of a programmer, and the body of a living weapon of the Worlds Will. Ren must fight, fuck, and dominate his way through Daemon's, corrupted goddesses, broken realms, and seductive boss battles. Till he eventually clear the seven hells, and Dominate or kill the Seven Sins. Lucky for Ren, he is not in this world alone unarmed. The Wonder is Blessed with the power of Save and Load. STILL GROWING

Young Adult Fiction (Humor, Coming-of-Age, Emotional Realism) Target Audience: Teens, parents, and everyone who’s ever felt “in-between” ⸻ Jayden’s story starts, as many do, with a minor disaster: falling face-first in the school hallway on the first day of junior year, a tray of pudding cups exploding across the linoleum like some kind of cafeteria warzone. It’s a painfully awkward start to a year he’d promised himself would be different. He had a plan—confidence playlist, new shoes, three therapy sessions under his belt—but none of that mattered in the face of public humiliation. That’s the first lesson of the year: expectations hurt. Jayden expected a glow-up and got a bruised ego. He’s a 16-year-old kid trying to survive high school, heartbreak, identity crises, and the ache of growing up when everything feels unstable. His voice is funny, honest, and often anxious. He doesn’t pretend to have it together, and that’s what makes him real. ⸻ Life Isn’t a Teen Movie (Unfortunately) Jayden narrates his life like it’s supposed to be a coming-of-age film, but so far, he’s more background character than protagonist. His best friend, Luca, who was once his person—the one who laughed at his dumb memes, who knew his favorite fruit snacks, who sat with him through the worst family dinner of his life—just stopped texting. Slowly. Then all at once. Jayden doesn’t know what happened, and it messes with him. He replays the last conversations over and over, wondering what he said or didn’t say. He watches Luca’s stories, sees him with a new crew, and tries not to compare himself. But the truth is, he’s lonely. And confused. And mad at himself for still caring. Friendship breakups, as Jayden learns, can be more painful than romantic ones—because there’s no closure, no dramatic final scene. Just silence. ⸻ Therapy and Other Soft Places Jayden’s mom signs him up for therapy after noticing he hasn’t been eating much and cries during toothpaste commercials. He resists at first, but eventually, he meets Dr. Wren—a soft-voiced woman who doesn’t push him to talk, but somehow gets him to anyway. He tells her about how he overthinks everything, how sometimes he feels like his skin is too thin for this world. How he hates his body one day and forgets it exists the next. How he wants people to like him so badly it physically hurts. He talks about Riley, the almost-girlfriend who never quite labeled things. They had a situationship—a blurry, playlist-sharing, hand-holding, nothing-but-something kind of thing. Until she drifted, posting photos with someone else. When he asked what they were, she said, “I don’t know.” That crushed him more than an actual breakup would’ve. Therapy doesn’t fix everything. But it gives Jayden room to exhale. To feel seen. “Therapy is where I learned that I wasn’t broken. Just overwhelmed.” ⸻ School Is a Stage and I Keep Forgetting My Lines School is chaos. Teachers expect too much. Classmates ask too little. Jayden feels invisible some days, like a ghost floating between lockers. Then there’s Mr. Chen, the one teacher who calls out, “You good?” in a way that actually sounds like he means it. And Ms. D, the art teacher who lets him sit in the back and draw when everything else feels too loud. And Daryl, the security guard who fist-bumps him every morning and tells him, “Hang in there, man.” They don’t solve anything. But they remind him he’s not alone. He finds a quiet friend in Cam—a kid who always eats alone in the library. They bond over awkward silences, shared introvert energy, and mutual hatred of gym class. They don’t need big conversations. Sometimes just sitting next to someone is enough. ⸻ Being Soft in a World That Wants You Tough Jayden cries easily. He cares too much. He rewatches Pixar movies and sobs every time. He used to think this made him weak. But the more he leans into it—the softness, the empathy, the vulnerability—the more he realizes it’s a kind of strength. The world is ful

Seizing Salvation (BL)

After being found wounded and unconscious in the snow, Cardin Rasheville wakes up in the home of a beautiful stranger. With barely any memory of his past, he struggles to remember who he is and where he came from, but the world of the dark and handsome Keary, filled with mystery and danger, beckons... ...... [Excerpt] Cardin opened his eyes to find himself kneeling on the bathroom floor. The fantasy had been intense, as had been his climax, and he sat back on his heels with a shudder of relief. He cleaned up quickly and stepped out of the bathroom, so intent on towelling his wet hair that he didn’t realise there was another person in the bedroom until he spoke. “Quite the midnight shower.” Cardin spun around in fright. Silver orbs stared up at him from the figure that sat on the bed, silhouette dark against the moonlight that streamed in from the windows. Cardin gaped in horror. No, no, no, no, no… This can’t be happening…! “Tell me, Cardin Rasheville,” came the silky, dark voice, “did it feel that good?” He was so mortified he thought he would faint as Keary rose from the bed and slowly closed the distance between them. Cardin backed away, frantically trying to cover his nakedness with the damp towel. “I-It’s… no, no, no please, it’s not what you think!” His bare back hit the cupboard but he continued to push against it. Keary stepped closer, and Cardin turned aside in a panicked attempt to escape, only to find himself trapped when the taller boy quickly reached out to put a hand against the cupboard to block him. Cardin squeezed his eyes tightly shut, only to open them when fingers took hold of his chin and tilted his face upward. “Tell me.” The note of barely concealed lust in the low voice sent shivers running through his body. "Tell me what I think it is, and what it really was." ......

Bloodborne: Andante of the Dead 9

* * * The Synopsis will be in the Glossary* * * * * * This is my first novel and I don’t expect it to be good since I’m just starting out and doing this as a practice test. So please read my story and critique it. I want to know what I did or am doing wrong and how to improve or what to learn from it. I am well aware that my story would never get close to a 9 since I’m new at this, but I’m at the very least aiming for a 7 or a 7.5 rating. I am more than willing to accept criticism, and I understand if I wrote something stupid, but please don’t give me an overly negative attitude about it. * * * – 「Authors Notes」 - I will do what I can to keep chapters around or over 1500 words per chapter. - Since I am new and have a job, I will do my best to hopefully complete at least one chapter within two or three weeks until I improve and can hopefully reduce that time. - As a new writer, I will definitely make a lot of mistakes, so I would definitely appreciate it if you could help point out if and when I make grammatical errors, contradictions, and retcon things. I will try to go back and fix my mistakes on my own, but I would appreciate it if you could spot me on them as well. - I plan on having a semi big cast of characters. I understand that multiple POVs can be annoying and ruin the story or pacing or both so I promise to do my best to focus solely on my big 3. - One thing I really liked about a popular anime I liked was how they included bits of information, such as abilities, unique equipment, enemies, locations, and other details about the world before and after the short commercial break so I plan on trying to have some short notes/information about the world at the bottom of some chapters. Though you can also find them in the bloodborne wiki or YouTube videos. * * * Thank you for choosing to read my novel, I hope it's something you look forward to reading * * *
