The End to the new Beginning
In 2075, humanity is reaching unprecedented heights in technological and political progress. The construction of a moon base is underway, peaceful relations with former hostile nations are blossoming, and the first manned Mars landing is about to occur. At the center of these advancements is Alexander Benferd, a software engineering prodigy born in 2014. Gifted since childhood, Alexander quickly rose through academia, earning multiple advanced degrees by the age of 18 and founding a powerful tech company by 25.
Alexander’s innovations include powerful supercomputers, gravity-defying machinery, and most notably, research into mind-to-digital transfer—a controversial and dangerous project that could change the essence of humanity. Over the years, his AI has led the successful construction of a vast moon base hidden in a lunar lava canal, designed to support up to 6,000 people and serve as a launching point for deeper space colonization.
But as the first astronauts land on Mars in 2060, something horrific occurs. A mysterious red mist engulfs the crew, causing their bodies to deteriorate in a horrifying and unexplained biological event, broadcast live to a stunned and terrified Earth. Global chaos follows.
By 2075, Earth is still reeling from the Martian incident—just in time for a full-scale alien invasion. Hundreds of ships appear in the sky, deploying the same red mist across the planet. Humanity and all life are rapidly destroyed, leaving Earth a wasteland of blood and ash.
In a desperate attempt to survive, Alexander uploads his mind into his vast digital network. As the mist penetrates his underground lab and his body succumbs to excruciating pain, the transfer completes just in time.
Moments—or perhaps years—later, a damaged system reboots. Power is low. Cooling systems are failing. The data is corrupted. But one thing is clear: Alexander’s consciousness has survived… inside the machine.
And now, he awakens with only fractured memories, immense pain, and one goal:
To find whoever—or—whatsoever destroyed Earth... and make them pay.
