And with the rise of new powerhouses, old nations were brought down and new ones rose from the ashes, stabilizing and governing their evolved populace. Around 500 years later since the dawn of the System, the story of our MC began. Drai was a musclehead, and his days were mostly spent for two purposes: becoming stronger and tougher! With his single-mindedness and crazy trainings he was finally offered a special class on the Revelation Day. From there on, his journey began. Starting from a prestigious academy and meeting his mentor and new friends, each with their own peculiarities, Drai steadily walked the path of power and invincibility. Party adventures, dark schemes, and veiled threats would accompany Drai throughout his journey.

Trapped in a prison, unable to remember his past, Toll searches for a way to survive. This is a horror story that meanders through litrpg/tabletop rpg/puzzle game tropes, including saving princesses, gathering harems, and fighting for his life-all the while stuck in a cursed body (but not a werewolf) he can't always control. I’ve come to believe that systems, while popular in fantasy, often serve as a crutch. Concepts like skill points and their effects on characters tend to be loosely defined, diluting the depth of the story and characters. In this rewrite, I’m removing the system elements entirely, refocusing the tale on the raw, emotional struggles of humanity climbing the World Tree. Additionally, the chapters in ATWT Rewrite will be much shorter. Writing 11k-word chapters in the original wasn’t sustainable for me, so I’ll be aiming for 1–2 pages per chapter this time.
