PROMOTION Awareness has brought peace to very few people from the very beginning of existence. In the first moment of awareness, a pure fear comes with it. That fear means crossing a threshold. The first moment you feel fear, you think it will last forever, a second ago you believed that your life was meaningless, while fear makes you miss that meaninglessness. You want your meaningless life back. Because having meaning in your life creates a goal, and it's a long narrow scary road to that goal... In the city of Han'ei in the commoner district there was a bar in an alleyway. The alleyway itself was abandoned since only a fool would go there and risk being confronted by a thief and having their money stolen. The bar there was in a bad state with broken windows, loose boards, and cobwebs in every nook and cranny. Despite the scary and unwelcoming atmosphere there was a single person in the bar. to be more specific it was a full-cat calico demi-human that was passed out on the floor. If people saw him they would think that he got drunk and passed out if not for it being abandoned. His eyes began to slowly open and when they did he sat up.
