Wonder wise
Lucien Thomas was once a diehard fan of the comic Wonder Wise, until he grew disillusioned with its lack of character development. After publicly critiquing the series’ recent direction, he wakes up in the comic’s universe as Lucien Thomas—a character who never originally existed. In this strange new version of Wonder Wise, Lucien is best friends with the protagonist, Asher Neuman, the son of Earth’s greatest superhero.
As Asher begins his journey as the rookie hero Neutron, Lucien realizes the story is playing out just like the comic's first issue. But rather than passively watch the events unfold, he decides to take matters into his own hands. Lacking the Q energy that grants others their powers, Lucien sets his sights on the ultimate shortcut: stealing the alien artifact known as the Wonder Wise suit. This mysterious suit absorbs Q energy and transforms its wearer into a formidable physical powerhouse.
Donning the suit, Lucien takes on the role of a villain—not out of malice, but to force Asher to take his role as a superhero seriously. As Asher and Lucien clash, their relationship is tested, and the lines between hero, villain, and mentor blur. With both of their fates now off the comic’s original script, Lucien must grapple with the unintended consequences of his actions and discover whether he can truly shape his own story—or if he’s just another piece in someone else’s game.
