Arya Kills The Night King

The Ludus King

In the year 3147 the Roman Imperium had finally achieved its goal of colonizing its own corner of the galaxy. Unlike in our own world the Rome of this one never fell, but instead grew to encompass the whole of the earth, and overtime spread itself, and humanity, among the stars. Yet even with the marvelous advancements in technology, healthcare, welfare, and every other category required for a thriving society. There is still one roman tradition that refuses to die. GLADIATORS!! And we should all be glad for it, because during the year 3149, just two years after the long and exhausting colonization campaigns were ended, mankind learned that it was not alone in the galaxy, let alone the universe. It had just stepped onto a much bigger stage where entire planets and even star systems were used as bargaining chips in universal gladiator games. Wars on a galactic scale are far too destructive to simply be allowed, if left unchecked the vast majority of life in the universe would cease to be. Therefore each race recognized by the galactic or universal council (it changes depending on the scale of the race itself) must submit champions or gladiators to represent them in the games. The winners gain unfathomable rewards, the losers perish or worse have their entire species enslaved. Please join our hero as he embarks upon his own perilous journey as a lanista, will he rise above the masses, or fall like so many others before him? Or perhaps his own latent gifts may bring him to a height, or depth hitherto unexplored by any before.

When the night comes

"Let me fall in love with you." With his ocean blue eyes, he looks at me. "I can't ...We are enemies." "I-" I know that. I doubt anyone knows it better than us. But still I can't help it. I want to love you. I want you to love me. I want us to be together. I wish I could declare this to whole world. Slowly extending his hands towards me, he says"One day we will not be enemies, maybe then we can be lovers." What do I say to that? Do I tell him I will wait... Or question him when? I have so many questions to ask him. But again how do I break it to him. "..." "n.." His gaze stuck on me for a while finally disappears. Facing straight, he finally breaks the silence with a soft wispher"Not just lovers." "Yes." I question him not believing my ears. Maybe the whistle of air is hindering my hearing. He whimpers. Completely turning away his head, he adds"Not just lovers but spouses." "Are you proposing to me?" I couldn't believe my ears, I couldn't believe reality. I am dreaming, aren't I? Maybe the night's cold is finally getting to me. "Yes,I will you accept?" He heard that. Noway did I speak aloud? Huh. The tips of his ear are little red. He is so cute. I can't help but smile to that. "You do realize you are asking me to wait to date right?" He turns and stares me down in eyes. He looks pitful. Maybe to an outsiders, it looks like I am bullying him. "I will give you the answer when we aren't enemies. He looked away. He had a frown on his face. "When the night comes, will we meet again." I asked him, gazing upon the stars in the sky. " When the night comes, I will also come with it." His replied made my heart tingle. "But I don't know about you." My face had a soft smile.

Embers Of The Night

As Mia drove through the bustling city streets, her heart began to race—not from the traffic, but from the chilling knowledge that a bomb had been planted in her car. The news had come through a frantic message on her phone, a warning from an anonymous source that sent her spiraling into a state of panic. She gripped the steering wheel tightly, her knuckles turning white as she fought to maintain control. With every red light, her dread deepened. She knew that the moment she stopped the car, the bomb would detonate. The thought of leaving her Lysander behind filled her with a profound sense of sorrow. They had so many plans, dreams of a future together that now felt impossibly distant. With trembling hands, she picked up her phone and dialed Lysander’s number. “Mi Amore?” Lysander’s voice came through, laced with concern. “What’s wrong?” Mia smiled sadly, he could always tell when something was bothering her and yet she was going to leave him. “Lysander , I need you to listen to me,” she said, her voice quivering. “ You’re a very great person. I never thought I would find this type of love. I only thought love like this was just a fairytale. But you….you….” Mia paused taking in a deep breath. “Anna? What’s happening? Is something wrong? You’re scaring me.” Tears rolled down her cheeks as she turned her head towards the backseat where the bomb sat. How could she tell this to Lysander? She was going to die and leave him. She was going to leave him alone with the thoughts and dreams they shared. Silence hung heavy on the line, and Anna could almost hear the rapid beating of her heart. “I just found out…… I… I don’t have much time,” she choked out, tears streaming down her cheeks. “I’m so sorry, love. I won’t be able to see you again.” “Don’t say that! We’ll figure this out! Just tell me what’s happening? ” he urged, desperation creeping into his tone. “No, please, just listen. It’s too late now. I love you so much, and I want you to remember that. You’ve made my life so beautiful. I wish I could hold you one last time.” Her voice broke as she fought to keep her composure. “Anna, don’t—” “I have to go, Lysander . Just know that I’m always with you.” With that, she hung up, her heart shattering into a million pieces. She looked at the cliff ahead of her and stepped on the gas, the car racing towards the cliff. ************* In the heart of a bustling college town, twenty-year-old Anna Mia Harper is juggling classes, bills, and a growing sense of despair as an orphan navigating life on her own. As they engage in a cat-and-mouse game, Dante finds himself torn between duty and desire. CHAPTER 1: "Deadline Looming"* Sophia Russo tapped her pen impatiently on her desk, staring at the blank page in front of her. Her editor, Mark, had been breathing down her neck all morning. "Sophia, where's the mafia exposé?" Mark asked, his voice firm but laced with annoyance. "You've had weeks to work on this. I need something concrete by the end of the day." Sophia took a deep breath, trying to calm her racing thoughts. "I'm close, Mark. Just need to verify some sources." Mark's expression turned skeptical. "Verify? You've been verifying for months. I need results, Sophia." As Mark walked away, Sophia's phone buzzed with an incoming text: "Meet me at the coffee shop on 5th and Main at 7 pm. Come alone. -A" Sophia's heart skipped a beat. Alex, her reliable source, rarely contacted her directly. She glanced around the newsroom, ensuring no one watched, before quickly typing: "See you then." The pressure from Mark still lingered, but Sophia's determination reignited. She would get this story. As she processed the message, a sudden wave of déjà vu washed over her. The newsroom around her blurred, and Sophia felt herself transported back in time. She saw herself as a teenager, sitting in the backseat of her parents' car, laughing and arguing with her mom about college plans. The sound of screeching tires and shattering glass shattered the memory. Sophia's heart raced as she relived the horror of that fateful night. Her parents' faces flashed before her: her father's encouraging smile, her mother's unwavering determination. The accident's aftermath unfolded like a cruel slideshow – the hospital, the funeral, the loneliness. Sophia's gaze drifted to the silver necklace around her neck, the press badge pendant a tangible connection to her parents' legacy.

MARRIED TO THE NIGHT KING

Helel painfully watched as the girl he cared for got hanged in front of the whole town. After he returned back to the palace, he made up his mind to deal with queen Helena and her minions. he had found love in the brown haired girl who had come along with the royal tailor, the king wanted to host a great ball for all creatures and all the royals needed new outfits for the ceremony. Helel was not interested in any of these but had to do what his father wanted, he only came back to make the lives of some people a living hell before sending them to hell one after the other. he came out of the bathroom and found a brownie not too curvey lady staring at carvings on his walls, he stood there admiring her features and hiding his highly intimidating presence and she still looked in owe, her jaws dropped when her eyes landed on a half naked prince. He had a white towel around his waist and his hair dripping wet on his shoulder driving down his chiseled chest and her eyes wondered even more, his well packaged body was undeniably lovely, his fine pacs and the v shape it gave from his sides that hid inside the towel. he cleared his throat before her brown eyes landed on his beautiful face, her lips parted again as if she was trying to make a drawing of this beautiful scene in her head, the smile on his face turned into a frown and he cleared his throat again, staring at her hard. she bowed her head and took few steps backwards with her face turning pink out of embarrassment, she sucked in her lower lip trying her best to not make it shiver. " what do you want?" his deep voice broke the silence and her eyes shakily moved to meet his dark red orbs that flickered with something she couldn't pinpoint. she froze when he started moving, he was so close that their bodies met, his face coming into view and she held her breath. his cold gaze landed on her and he could see right through her, he stretched his hand and for a moment she thought the vampire prince was going to kill her. he opened the wardrobe behind to pull out white shirt and black pants before pulling away from her to wear the shirt, "did your tongue get pulled out of your mouth, speak! I don't have all day" he said in an irritated tone and Constance swallowed, taking in a deep breath she mastered to talk still with her head down not meeting that strange beauty of a man. "my prince, the king sent me to get your measurements...... am sorry for my imprudence, I didn't know-" her words cut short because Helel was done with it, " do what you are here to do and leave!" he said so cold that Constance shivered, she was no human so why was she so weak in front of the prince?
