(Written in mostly emails, the style is called epistolary. There will be segments or entire chapters where it will be written like a normal story, however.) Project Rift. A billion, no, even trillion dollar project funded solely by the world's only mega-corporation. The Nexus Corporation. Project Rift's goal is to find a way to literally shatter reality and spacetime itself to force a temporary wormhole by blasting an extremely small area with a massive amount of energy. And after years of trial and error, it finally worked. A large rift was created, and on the other side, was a planet similar to earth. The air was breathable, the water was drinkable, and there was a respectable amount of landmass and water. Instead of settling it however, it was decided that the planet be used as a testing ground for new technology and research. More specifically, the planet, now named Eden-44, was given to the Life Creation and Genetics Research Department. It was a golden opportunity for them to go wild with their creations. Unfortunately, the corporation knows a bit less about their rift technology then they originally thought. === Spoilers Ahead === If you don't care for the email parts, skip to Origins: 1, It gets better from there. (I hope) This fic is about a futuristic organization creating a classic fantasy world with technology, with very little care about morality and ethics. Eventually, magic will get introduced in the form of the particles released from unstable rifts.

Brad was a jobless 24 year old guy who lives alone living of the money he had won in the Lottery, many would say he is quite the lucky person but Brad doesn't think so. Besides winning this lottery, all he had in life was ridicule and disdain from people he knew. They only showed smiles when he had struck rich, this made him quite averse towards human interaction. An orphan who was known to be quite a smart one but a very lazy person. He felt that life was dull even if you work hard so he spent his days alone by himself watch tv and videos in social media to pass his time. Until an unfortunate accident happened in a nearby hidden secret facility. A wormhole appeared and swallowed Brad along with his bed and half of his closet. Follow Brad as he awakens towards the real harshness in life in a brand new world of Fantasy where he would discover many new things and find himself a changed man. They’ve brought spirituality and mysticism to what would’ve been a normal, mundane world. In times like these, they can only rely on the Wardens. A group of police, detectives, and investigators that wield mystical powers. Only they can resolve the cases that plague Monfrey, only they can harm the mysteries that harangue the populace. The sticky note in that man’s pocket is his only remainder of his past. It says… “Find out who C is.”
