[Novel images are AI generated] ******************** [Excerpt from Novel] The Goddess remembered that day clearly. As she floated in the sky near the cold doors of death, she shivered. She had lost too much blood. The pain was overtaking her senses. She knew she was dying. She hugged the rabbit in her arms even tighter, not wanting to drop her loyal friend. How the Goddess had wished she could see her loved one, just one last time, she thought sadly. The cold began to invade every part of her body, spreading itself like sharp frost through her bones. She had not thought that she would die feeling so lonely and scared. She choked back a sob. She wasn't sure if her eyes were becoming hazy and blurry from her tears or from her consciousness slipping away... "You're safe now... I will never let anything bad happen to you..." "Thank you..." she whispered gratefully. When the Goddess finally awakened, she was home within her palace in the Realm of Gods. She sat up slowly in her bed assessing her surroundings. Sunlight shone through the grand windows onto freshly cut flowers on the bedside table. She could hear the song birds serenading the world outside. The air smelled like a mix of vanilla and honey. Nothing was out of place here. She was wearing a light nightgown. She lifted the hem of it so she could take a look at her body. Her light skin was smooth and glowing. There were no injuries at all. For a moment, she wondered if her time on Earth as Queen Chang’er was nothing but a dream. She took a deep breath when she felt something moving under the blanket. Curious, she lifted back the covers and gazed into the face of the little rabbit who had been her companion through it all. The Goddess’s eyes became wet with tears as she lifted the rabbit up onto her lap. She couldn’t believe that the little bunny survived the journey to the Realm of Gods. “Was it you who saved me…?” The rabbit rubbed its furry face against her hands, wiggling her little cotton tail, happy that her master had finally awakened from her long slumber. “You silly one…” The Goddess touched her finger against the rabbit’s nose, which caused it to twitch slightly. “For your kindness,” she said gently, “I will repay you, my little Tuzi.” The Goddess worked her magic and changed Tuzi’s form into a human. Forever her companion and friend. The legend of Chang’er goes, that she became the Moon Goddess in the heavens, accompanied by her loyal white rabbit. Sometimes, if one stares long enough at the Moon, they can see the rabbit shift into a human.

the prophecy: oh she's the one

The history of the prophecy was shrouded in mystery and legend. But according to the tales, it began with a blind seer embedded by the gods with the vision of a child prophesied to unite all clans, ushering an era of peace.      The vampires were the first to learn of the prophecy, which foretold that the child would be of their own flesh and blood. Yet, instead of embracing this revelation, their hearts ignited with a fierce hatred for the unborn child, leading them to rebel against it's coming.      Meanwhile, the werewolves, upon discovering the dark rebellion of the vampires, vowed to protect the child. This decision further tore the six clans apart, as some members, driven by fear, chose to side with the vampires while others rallied behind the werewolves.      As the night of the blood-red moon approached—700 years after the prophecy was first foretold— the prophesied child was born into the human world, seemingly cursed by fate and shunned by her own kind. . . . In a dimly lit chamber, a man approaches a fierce figure seated on a throne-like chair.      “My Lord... the child is alive,” he stammered, his head bowed and body visibly trembling with fear.      “Hmph,” Lord Neil scoffed, his eyes closed and lips curled into a sinister smile that sent chills down the messenger's spine.      “She's alive, you say?” he asked, his voice heavy with authority as he breathed out smoke that swirled in the air like a dark warning.    The messenger's heart skipped two beats as sweat dripped down his face; he slowly nods his head in affirmation      “Then she tricked me,”Neil declared, his expression suddenly cold as he opened his eyes, revealing crimson orbs that seemed capable of burning any soul at a glance.      “Summon Mia!” he roared, crushing the last remnants of his cigarette with his hand, his fangs elongating in anticipation of the chaos to come. Now with her fate and life wrapped around an ancient prophecy, Would she fulfill her destiny or succumb to the darkness that surrounds her?

THE MOON'S CHOSEN LUNA: The Howling Prophecy

"Run!" my father exclaimed. Once more, please! I have spent nearly my entire life running. I got really good at it eventually, and it was helpful. Being a werewolf who was unable to shift at the age of twenty made me feel different, and naturally, the rest of my family and the pack shunned me. This seemed to be Luna's fate. With her ‘inabilities’ all around her, Luna was a lone wolf without her usual disposition. At the darkest hour of the night, with the moon in full view, a strange figure hovered over the house and crawled into her room, casting its shadow over her as she slept. It was without form and void. The only distinctive feature was the icy eyes which looked like they contained icebergs. Its presence was so strong as well, the extreme drop in temperature made her wake with a start. The eyes glowed even more as fire danced beneath it's mirth, as it caressed her lips with its fingers while whispering, “The time is now”. With a creepy laugh, it vanished. The voice is deafening, ringing in my ears, voices in my ears for many years but it's worse now. My vision blurred and I could see red eyes flashing through and through. Like a vortex, the voice plunged me into a darkness that was thicker than normal. I shut my eyes in fear of the unknown as I spiralled deeper into the never-ending darkness. I was gone for as long as I was drawn into the darkness. A flash of light sparked in her head so painful it forcefully drew her out of the darkness and caused her to open her eyes. The white light which reflected what seemed like a battle between ice and fire glowered out of them. She looked ethereal yet evil, an angel but had the look of a devil as she made various moves of getting up slowly. She stood by the window as a gush of chilling wind and cold hit the room she was in. She heard a whimper and standing behind her was the biggest, fiercest creature that immediately pounced on her. What happened to Luna? A shift had occurred in the realm. Why her sudden disappearance? ‘The time is now!’ Would she ever be free from the never-ending clutches surrounding her? Mate. Where was he in this whole scenario? Most importantly, who is Luna?
