Absolute Denial is Overpowered, but I’d Rather Not Be Bothered
Rei Nakamura was an average, unassuming high school student—or so he thought. After a fatal accident involving a runaway vending machine, Rei wakes up in a strange new world, summoned by a pantheon of gods to act as their "champion." However, something goes horribly wrong during the summoning ritual, and instead of granting Rei a set of cheat-like abilities, they accidentally imbue him with the Authority of Absolute Denial: the power to reject anything in existence.
Now armed with a power that transcends all logic and reality, Rei quickly discovers that he can deny death, time, fate, causality, and even the rules of this new world. He can deny his enemies’ strength, their very existence, or even the concept of their powers. But instead of reveling in his god-like power, Rei is annoyed—he just wants a peaceful, mundane life in this new world, not endless fights and responsibilities. Unfortunately for him, everyone wants to either worship, fight, or kill him, making his laid-back dream nearly impossible.
