Outlaw and Law
In a world where bounty determines a man’s worth, Arthur Bethonen was born into the shadow of the Law. His father, William Bethonen, was a 4-Star Law, a man devoted to order and justice. But Arthur never saw the world as his father did. To him, both Laws and Outlaws were sick, corrupted by their own ideals of power and freedom.
One night, Arthur witnesses an outlaw murder a 2-Star Law, and by chance, he is framed for the crime. Thrown into prison and facing either execution or lifelong chains, he seizes his chance during a prison massacre, escaping into the unknown.
Now branded a fugitive with a 280 gold coin bounty, Arthur meets Kai, an energetic outlaw who takes him to Drentail—a hidden city where criminals roam free. But freedom has its price. If Arthur wants to survive, he must train, fight, and prove his worth.
As he delves deeper into the bounty system, Arthur realizes the truth: freedom is an illusion, and power is everything. If he wants to live, he must become stronger than those who hunt him. Stronger than the Laws. Stronger than the Outlaws.
And perhaps… even stronger than his own father.
