Too Gay for You: Don't Give me Heart Eyes (GL)

Popular girl Ari Cho is absolutely charming, leaving Yumi Kim, the school nerd, so gay to function normally. ** FOREWORD: Like any other day, I sat back and watched Ari hold court in the far corner of the school cafeteria. She was surrounded by her usual swarm of admirers, each one trying—and failing—to win her over. One by one, they crumbled under the weight of her gentle rejections, their faces painted with the sting of unrequited affection. Oh, what a marvellous sight to behold. The scene took a dramatic turn when two of the boys started arguing, throwing out accusations about who was making Ari more uncomfortable. The irony was almost too good—they were both so oblivious to the fact that their entire presence was likely making her want to bolt out the door. I took another bite of my sandwich, savouring the free entertainment. Poor Ari, trapped in the middle of a gaggle of hormonal teenagers who genuinely believed their cringe-worthy displays of “manliness” would sweep her off her feet. Pathetic. You might be wondering why I’m not stepping in to rescue Ari from that circus of admirers. Well, let me give you three solid reasons why meddling is a terrible idea for me. First, I’m no Superman—I don’t do heroic deeds. Second, I’m far too comfortable living my drama-free life to jeopardise it now. And third, let’s be real, my body is definitely not built for a catfight. As I happily munched on my sandwich, enjoying the chaos from a safe distance, I made a grave error, I locked eyes with Ari. Oh, crap. Picture this: while the two idiotic boys were still mid-argument, Ari—with a slightly shy smile—started walking towards my direction, her tray of food balanced in her hands. No, no, no. God, please tell me she’s not actually coming to talk to m— “Hi, Yumi!” she said casually, her smile so bright it could power a small city. ** OTHER STORIES: Miss Not So Typical (on going)

The Reincarnated Nobody: Please control your power

Max’s life takes an absurd nosedive when he dies during a marathon—not from exhaustion or injury, but from slipping on a banana peel and crashing into a dog, all because the Grim Reaper was too busy on a date to collect his soul on time. If that wasn’t ridiculous enough, his funeral is a rush job, with Max being buried almost before he’s cold. It’s like the world couldn’t wait to move on without him. In the Netherworld, Max is offered a “sorry for killing you by mistake” compensation in the form of a magical fruit. But instead of playing it safe, Max decides to go big or go home and grabs the Forbidden Fruit, which turns out to be a cosmic-level power-up. Reincarnated on a faraway planet, Max quickly discovers that he’s now the most powerful being in the universe. The problem? He has zero control over it. Even using 1% of his strength could turn mountains into dust, and don’t even mention what happens when he sneezes—whole planets go poof! Poor Max can’t even walk normally without risking planetary destruction. It’s like being Superman with the clumsiness of a toddler. As Max zooms through space, trying to keep his powers in check, he can’t help but wonder how he’s supposed to live a low-key life when the slightest hiccup could send the universe into chaos. His journey is less about fighting bad guys and more about trying to not accidentally destroy everything around him. And with every step, it’s becoming clear that keeping a low profile might be the most impossible task of all.

Cønsequences Øf A Renagade

"Power tends to corrupt; absolute power corrupts absolutely." What would you do with absolute power? How would the world react to you? With fear? Trepidation? Perhaps awe? Godlike reverence? With a power thrust upon me, tempestuously and my world falling apart around me, how would you thrive? Would you rule with an iron fist? Or munificent benevolence? My choices define me; to an end, I cannot make out. Perhaps it will never be discerned. But do I really want to know... how it all ends? ---------------------------------------------------------- Describing the book a bit more, considering the above is quite vague, it is, at its most basic, an evil Superman novel. Obviously, it's been done before: Homelander, Omni-man, Brightburn. However, none of these especially go into the mind of those characters. They're either psychopaths, had a bad childhood, loyal to another planet etc. So I wanted to portray a character that is a normal person, gaining powers whilst no one else does and seeing how the world reacts to them and what I believe would happen. I want to portray how their mind changes, their biases and beliefs. Whether this is done well is for you to decide. I’m an amateur writer, doing this as a mixture of practice and entertainment. The chapters may take a while to come out, but I like to spend my time on them – perfecting them to the best of my ability. The book will likely be a couple of hundred chapters long and completed no matter how long it takes. I’m trying to improve my English skills to a reasonable degree so harsh criticism would be much appreciated... within reason. Currently, I'm trying to achieve 2 chapters a week, but there are no promises. On a positive, it will be entirely free. On that note, if you enjoy the story, thank you. If you hate it, it is what it is; I understand not every book will suit every person. And with that, I hope you enjoy it. *Views expressed throughout the story do not represent my views. The narration is from a biased viewpoint, and it is a realistic and dark world; there will be things that you may find repugnant. This does not mean I believe or endorse them! *The story, setting, person(s), companies, entities or nations portrayed in this book are fictitious.

Tulsa King

If there’s one thing we’ve learned about Sylvester Stallone’s character from the first looks and trailers coming out for his upcoming Paramount+ series, Tulsa King, it’s that he’s not messing around. In a new teaser released to the show’s Twitter account, it’s clear that things are serious … very serious. The series will follow Stallone’s Dwight “The General” Manfredi after he’s been shipped off to Tulsa by the leader of his mafia family. Before embarking on his new adventure, Manfredi is made aware that the family will no longer be backing him, leading the longtime mafioso to set up a crew of his own. Although it’s less than one minute, the clip reveals The General is making his way to Tulsa, Oklahoma after doing a 25-year stint behind bars. Packed with the typical action sequences you’d expect from a Stallone-led production, with well-choreographed fight scenes and quotable one-liners around every corner, we see the outsider try his best to fit in, but ultimately stick out in style, attitude, and accent. Set to crash onto the streamer on November 13, Stallone will appear next to a killer lineup of talent that includes the likes of Martin Starr (Silicon Valley), Vincent Piazza (Boardwalk Empire), Andrea Savage (I’m Sorry), Domenick Lobardozzi (The Irishman), A.C. Peterson (Superman & Lois), Max Casella (The Tender Bar), Jay Will (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel), Garrett Hedlund (The United States vs. Billie Holiday), and Dana Delany (Body of Proof).Sylvester Stallone's 'Tulsa King' Wraps Production Along with the A-list call sheet, the project has some equally gargantuan names backing it. Yellowstone co-creator and Academy Award nominee Taylor Sheridan adds Tulsa King to his list of projects created for Paramount+. Along with the already dropped Yellowstone prequel 1883 and Mayor of Kingstown, the triple threat has several projects en route to viewers including Lioness, 1883: The Bass Reeves Story, Land Man, and 1932. Emmy Award winner Terence Winter, who backed both The Sopranos and The Wolf of Wall Street, will serve the series as its showrunner and writer. Along with their already huge credits for the series, Stallone, Sheridan, and Winter will also serve on the executive production team alongside David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, David Hutkin, Allen Coulter, and Braden Aftergood. MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios serve as producers. With the latest teaser in the books, we’re one step closer to seeing Stallone’s Manfredi splitting skulls all over the city of Tulsa while he builds a family of his own. Check out the clip below.
