Shortly after Sarah had given her gifts shadowreaver’s presence becomes minuscule, as Thawne reveals the fate of the world without a hydronain. The world will end if the creator isn’t released from her shackles. Easier said than done. The group long since separated and the threat of an unknown third party became involved, can Nick and Thawne find everyone before all hell breaks loose?

Tales and Shadows is a collection of short stories and ruminations, most of which deal with supernatural or strange events carrying an undercurrent of horror. A recurring theme throughout the stories is the conflict of gods against man and the psychology of otherworldly beings trying to understand their place in the universe.

With eyes, grey, sharp, and attentive, they held strongly on my form. Hair falling over his face, wavy and dark, which flowed past the sides of his profile. Something about the presence on the other end, was sure to have anyone have a double take at him. Perhaps, it was those eyes of his, or could it be how relaxing he seemed? His gaze soon shifted to the sculpture which I had crashed into, its broken pieces scattered around. For a fleet second, his eyes shadowed at the sight of the broken pieces, but in a moment, his expression had turned blank.
