Oh hey there! Welcome to my totally not your average novel. I'm Natsuo, your humble guide (well, maybe not that humble) through this wild rollercoaster of a story. Buckle up because things are about to get real. So, picture this: I was just your regular guy—well, if by regular you mean born into a family of portal-hopping "Dimension Walkers," betrayed by a kingdom, and accidentally sold my soul to Lucifer. Oops. Now I’ve got these wicked powers like gaining all knowledge (yes, I’m a genius), multiplying anything by a trillion (imagine a trillion-dollar pizza), and copying abilities (basically, I'm like the ultimate cheat code). Oh, and did I mention I’m emotionless now? Yeah, turns out selling your soul has some side effects. Who knew? Anyway, things went downhill real fast when the Night Commander decided to try and kill me and my best friend Minami. Spoiler alert: didn’t work. But, in a twist of fate (and some magic portals), I ended up in a new dimension where I ran into some really "interesting" characters, like a dude in a red suit named G.W.A.K.(Guy with a katana) He’s kind of like a talking cartoon with a katana—breaks the fourth wall and cracks jokes like there's no tomorrow. Honestly, he might be funnier than Luci, my annoying floating eyeball companion. Now, with these crazy new powers, I’m hopping between dimensions, stealing abilities from other powerful freaks, and maybe trying to find a way to reclaim my soul before Lucifer decides she wants more than just a one-time deal. Did I mention I don’t play nice? Yeah, if you’re looking for a hero, you’re probably in the wrong place. But hey, stick around! There’s betrayal, epic fights, fourth-wall-breaking shenanigans, and enough sarcasm to fill an entire kingdom. The first novel called: "Time Gap Queen and the Alpha Apex Predators" is still under editing and needs to be rewritten to fix some flaws I made with the FL, but it is completed. "DO NOT" let those flaws reflect on this novel because it will take time to fix them. This is my first time writing a series like this, so it's been a learning experience for me with writing a Fl. The story isn't all romance. This storyline runs deeper than that, and the vampires aren't weak. Also, it's only labeled as historical because the FL can mentally travel to past events in ancient times. This second Novel will be dark, gory, murderous, bloody, and steamy hot like the first one. You've been warned. Further warnings will be added as needed in certain chapters. I recommend reading the first novel before starting this one to avoid some confusion. If not, just let things play out in this novel as recaps will be added to grasp certain events and the vampires' way of life. Overall, the story will take a whole new direction, so you can read it as a standalone if you wish. I will leave reference chapters from the first novel for you to read if you want to glance at it. Unfortunately, that part of the counter is still covered in uncleaned bacon grease from his disaster yesterday, and now her phone is too. The television buzzes a commercial from the living area, or whatever passes as such. She cranes her neck to check the ad, but it's not selling anything good, just some sort of medical plan for old people, the kind of thing she couldn't afford even if she chopped off both arms and sold them. When she left home, she swore up and down she wasn’t ever going to be the kind of person who left the TV on. She wasn’t going to eat in front of it, didn’t even need a good model really, just something to use to occasionally watch old cartoons and maybe a new show if he wanted to. Now, the TV is always on, always buzzing, always saying something, just a little too quiet to hear. The pot on the stove is still not boiling. She thinks she remembered to top the water off with cold water, but maybe she didn’t. She wonders if throwing in a tablespoon or two now will change anything. Probably not; her greasy phone buzzes again. She flips it over, checks the name, and turns it back down. He’s not going to write her. She knows that. Still, she checks, just in case.
