Frozen convenant
In a world where magic reigns supreme, Arthur Valtoria is born into one of the most prestigious noble families. The kingdom’s most revered institution, the Sage Academy, trains elite sword mages, but before gaining entry, every aspiring student must pass through the Preliminary Academy, where they must either be chosen by a blade or manifest one through their own power.
Despite his noble lineage and a strong affinity for mana, Arthur fails both trials—no blade chooses him, and he is unable to manifest his own. This failure brings disgrace to his family, the shame proves too great. His father, Duke Aldric Valtoria, disowns him, stripping him of his title and leaving him to fend for himself as a fallen noble.
Determined not to be defined by his failure, Arthur refuses to accept his fate. Drawing upon the wisdom and intellect of his past life, he dedicates himself to mastering his own path, vowing to rise beyond those who had cast him aside.
He finds a master and trains himself for the upcoming Sage academy exams.
His true turning point comes when his closest friend, Felix, is thrust into mortal danger. With no other choice, Arthur desperately summons a blade—and against all odds, a sword answers his call. But unlike others, his weapon carries no inherent magical ability. Labeled talentless and powerless, Arthur refuses to back down. He will forge his own destiny, defy fate itself, and carve his path to becoming the Sage King.
