"The missing ingredient is a test subject with Royal Blood..." Raven Kyzer, a Commoner boy, grew up in an orphanage along with his twin sister, after losing their mother at a young age, having never met their father. After being discovered to possess Royal blood, the twins are abducted by the Church of Persona. Raven is used as a test subject in an ancient form of Forbidden Magic, known as the Homunculus Ritual, while his sister goes missing in the clutches of the church. The Homunculus Ritual is conducted to turn Raven into a powerful but mindless Monster, a loyal weapon for the church with no sense of free will...but something goes wrong, the ritual fails to destroy Raven's mind and he escapes the clutches of the church. Furious at being turned into a Monster, Raven swears revenge against the church, determined to make them pay for what they did to him, as well as to rescue his sister from their clutches. But there's only so much he can do by himself, even with the new powers he gained through the Homunculus Ritual...that's when he has a fateful encounter with the nation's most wanted criminals, a group known as The Irregulars, who, like Raven, have their own reasons to despise and go after the church, as well as the corrupt Nobility that oppresses the Commoners. With their goals aligned, Raven decides to join The Irregulars, taking the first step on his long, arduous path to revenge... Instagram: @aimdaqs Discord Server: https://discord.gg/J497zhJb

The Quran and Modern Science

Today, one may be a highly educated citizen of a wealthy, modern society with the internet at one’s fingertips. However, in order to begin to understand the extraordinary content within in the Quran, one must transport one’s self back hundreds of years to a time (e.g., around 610-632 CE) and place where “science” barely existed. Furthermore, Prophet Muhammad’s birthplace was in one of the most backward places of the world at that time. If you who have been fortunate enough to travel, perhaps you have even traveled to one of the rapidly disappearing places on our globe that has been relatively untouched by the modern world. If so, you might begin to have some sense of the world at an earlier time. Alternatively, perhaps you have studied the history of the world at a much earlier time. That, too, would help you to appreciate how different that time and world was. Changing your mindset to a different time and place can help you appreciate how extraordinarily it would be to find some of the Quranic material in such a place and time, especially since the Quran appears to emanate from an illiterate man. Much scientific information we take for granted these days, simply did not exist (or was incorrect) in earlier times and places. So readjust your mindset to a different time and place so that you can more fully appreciate the following… EMBROYOLOGY Context: While today people have a good understanding of reproduction, this has not always been the case. For example, do you know that the theory of “spontaneous generation” held sway for a time? The idea was that things like maggots would “spontaneously” appear on meat. Of note, Pasteur conclusively demonstrated that the theory was false by running controlled experiments during the 19th century CE. How about the theory of “preformationism?”1 The general idea was that, for example, a human was fully preformed as a “homunculus” i.e. a miniature human. Then this miniature human simply grew with time into an adult. The idea gained much strength under people like Nicolaas Hartsoeker in 1694 CE (before eventually being replaced by competing idea of epigenesis2’ due to Ritter von Baer’s discovery of the mammalian ovum (egg) in 1827 CE. and also due to the Hans Driesch experiments of the late 19th century CE. Sure a lot of this stuff sounds absurd, but the point is that things that are obvious to us now may not necessarily always have been. It helps to understand that, in order to more fully appreciate this section. Ok,on to embryology. Here are some Quranic verses and their commentaries that deal with human embryology. “Sulalah”

Ode to Sorcery

Six centuries passed since the end of the Profane War. The Gods are dead, violently dragged from their thrones by accursed beings whose name is only uttered in fearful whispers. The atmospheric Mana became too dense for the human populace, now forced to live inside protective domes throughout the known world. However, dreams blossom everywhere. Spellcasters, skilled individuals capable of taming Mana itself, are able to brave the countless dangers outside. From wretched Nightmares to twisted phenomena, only they can survive nature’s cruelest hurdles. Follow Aeden, a Homunculus hybrid, as he attempts to prove himself with his adventuring party, unknowing of the waves his abnormal birth stirred. Through brutal trials and traumatic ordeals - perhaps they will learn - that when flirting with death, tomorrow is a hope, never a promise. _ She exhaled. And then, the world turned red. Heatwaves scorched the earth as he struggled to take a simple breath. Flaming tendrils snaked around them, rapidly coiling towards her in a frenzied dance. It was no mere spellcast, for she hadn’t even uttered a single incantation. Her golden eyes fixed on him, burning with the truest essence of hatred. The blaze roared once more, mirroring her emotions. It devoured living and nonliving objects in a show of terrifying equality. The fire, ruthless and unforgiving, had already engulfed the whole forest. Still, before him, it only waited. It swayed and spun, whirled and twirled as if taunting him. Its influence was but torture, and he felt like his very life was being singed. The heat charred his skin, and his body screamed from the painful embrace, yet it couldn’t even compare to the fiery madness that slowly crept into his mind. The inferno parted akin to hellish curtains, revealing her silhouette, regal and solemn. At that moment, his wits could only spare a thought: “So this is.. a true Sorceress...” _ Release Schedule: Monday -> Friday (5 Chapters/week)
