Shall We Dance
Straightlaced to the bone with relationships, Idia never found them fulfilling. Doing everything right made everything go wrong in some way or another. And with a final swear to live single with 5 cats, she was confident with that form of happiness.
However, it only takes one person and unusual circumstances to change Idia's entire lifestyle.

"Yes mom, everything went perfectly okay. It's not like the plane caught fire." I giggle into the receiver and switch shoulders to finish unpacking
Once she finished repremanding me for that comment, I hang up with promises to be a good girl.
I sprawl onto the hotel bed, ready to pass out forever. Comfy bed, kill my insomnia. It's been a 5 hour flight, let me sleep.
Nope.
With that I gather my willpower, kick off my painful heels, and blindly search for chamomile tea. When I lean over a hairpin wiggles loose. I discard it and all its buddies, including my hair tie.
I forgot my tea. Great. Considering the fact that I won't be able to sleep if I don't, I confirm the desperate need to call room service.
With nimble feet from years of ballet, I patter over to the phone. Which number is it? Hmmm....
An explosion of hellfire mushrooms behind me. Whirling around leads to smoke stinging my eyes. A man stands in the middle of the explosion's aftermath.
"F*** tea." I mutter.
