The story starts to take place in England 2025, with Chris, the protagonists, being held captive for information. Chris’ previous history revolves around being fostered in an organisation made of assassins since he was 6 years old. As he grows up and begins his first missions, he becomes later known as of one of the most talented hitmen in this age. Read as the world experiences its first mana wave, sending Chris and the rest of mankind into a new age of wonders and dangers. ———————————————————————— I’ll be having chapters with around 1k words, give or take 10%. It might be more given the stories context, but shouldn’t be any lower. I’m writing mostly because it’s an outlet for my imaginations, so there might be times when I upload more frequently than others. Usually I’ll try to hit at least 5 chapters a weeks. But then, Ahmet's smooth voice came back, dripping with confidence. "I’m glad to know you are well-informed about my romantic conquests. Let's just say, Asli, that I have my reasons. And as for what I'd gain… well, that's for me to know and you to find out." His tone sent a shiver down her spine, and she knew she had to tread carefully. She wasn’t going to win this against him. “Show me what proof you have and I will give in to your demands.” With that, she hung up the call, feeling a small sense of satisfaction at being the one to end the conversation this time. She was the only woman in the male-dominated Mafia world. Did he think he could subdue her so easily?
