What was supposed to be a simple museum excursion quickly turns into a nightmare.
On their way back home, a group of college students faces a catastrophic plane crash. When they wake up, they find themselves stranded on an uncharted island, a place untouched by time and devoid of any modern technology. Every attempt to call for help fails. They soon realize they are not alone—something dark and ancient lurks on the island, the very force that brought them here. And it has left its mark.
The students discover they’ve been given strange, inexplicable powers. But power, as they learn, is a dangerous thing. In a place without law or order, where survival is the only rule, the island becomes a brutal test of their humanity. Love will bloom, alliances will shatter, and greed, lust, and fear will consume those who cannot resist their darker urges.
As friendships fray and trust crumbles, the students must fight not only the island’s monsters but also the monsters within themselves. Because the longer they stay, the more the island begins to reveal its sinister secrets—and the price they may have to pay for escape.
