Eclipsed Genesis
In the year 2077, humanity’s dominion over the Earth came to an abrupt end. On a night where the moon failed to rise and the sun disappeared, a mysterious phenomenon ignited an evolutionary leap among animals. Some gained heightened intelligence, and all harbored a deep, primal hatred for the human race. What followed was chaos, as the newly empowered animals claimed dominion over land, sea, and even subterranean realms. Space explorers launched desperate missions to flee the planet, but their fates remain shrouded in mystery.
The remnants of humanity retreated into hiding, their survival measured in whispers and shadows. Over the course of millennia, small human enclaves grew into nations, their survival made possible by the creation of Ecliptine, a drug capable of temporarily granting superhuman abilities. However, this power comes at a steep cost: the drug is not universally compatible, its effects last only a week to a month, and repeated use mutates its users in unpredictable and often horrific ways.
As humanity struggles to reclaim its place in a world no longer its own, alliances fracture, nations teeter on the brink of collapse, and a new question arises: is the cost of survival worth the price of humanity itself?
This is the story of survival, transformation, and resistance in a world forever changed by Eclipsed Genesis.
