Touhou: Fate of External Boundaries
The search for one's purpose in life is something that for many is not easy. A[???] is a 15-year-old boy who has been tormented by misfortunes all his life. And one day when life itself had turned its back on him, he decides to give in to impulses that would lead him to commit a tragedy. That's when a mysterious voice echoes in his head and his body begins to move against his will, taking him to the outskirts of the city. Not knowing how to get back, he stumbles upon an ancient Shinto temple. Having gone through that door, he enters a cage isolated from the outside world known as Gensokyo, a fantasy land where his life would be in danger if he is found by the mythological beings that inhabit the place. In addition, the boy, having come into contact with the voice, partially loses his memories of his past life in the outside world. The mysterious voice reveals itself to be a powerful deity that is able to control the gaps, and the reason it took his body and brought him here was so that he could help the goddess escape from a seal that was imposed on her centuries ago during a war. The boy and the goddess team up with other inhabitants to free her and help him recover his memories.
