Ode to the Golden Ones
In Camelot, a massive city split into districts, teens with supernatural abilities—the "Golden Children"—are kept out of sight and out of mind, feared by the people around them. Fourteen-year-old Asael is new to the academy for Golden Children, a place where he's supposed to be "safe." But safety isn’t guaranteed, and he quickly learns life at the academy is anything but easy.
Asael teams up with siblings Leo and Auryn. Together, they’re sent out on risky missions to find and recruit other Golden Children hiding across the city. Along the way, they come face-to-face with protestors, power-hungry rivals, and a society that sees them as freaks.
With every mission, Asael is pushed to confront his fears, his past, and what it means to have powers in a world that hates them. It’s a dark, gritty journey, where Asael has to grow up fast—or risk being swallowed by a world that sees him as dangerous.
Ode to the Golden Ones is a coming-of-age story about the harsh reality of being a teen with powers, exploring what it takes to find strength and identity in a world set against you.
