Infinite Evolution: My Idle Evolution System

“First were the Gates, and now you’re saying the world has been invaded by Aliens and we’re soon going to be turned into livestock…? Great…” —---------------- *Ding!* [You have awakened with the Idle Evolution System!] “The wha—” Suddenly thrown into a magical parallel world of the Earth he once knew, Cassius was greeted with powerful beings known as Hunters and the terrifying Gates that plagued the world. Moreover, he received a message… [To Idle, one must stay proactive!] [Firstly, you require Character Development!] “Character Development…?” [You seem a bit (A lot) overweight, and you resemble that of a goblin! What say we start there!?] {[Daily Quest 1:]} _________________ [Daily Quest - To Idle, one must stay proactive.] GOAL [INCOMPLETE] PUSH-UPS — [0/100] [INCOMPLETE] SIT-UPS — [0/100] [INCOMPLETE] CURL-UPS — [0/100] [INCOMPLETE] SQUATS — [0/100] [INCOMPLETE] RUNNING — [0/10km] REWARD - [1 Point in Charisma, 1 Point in Agility, 1 Point in Strength, and 1 Point in Endurance] _________________ “Is this torture!?” shouted the ugly, obese transmigrator Cassius. *Ding!* [No, it’s Character Development! ^-^] —---------------- 100 years ago, Earth was suddenly overwhelmed with the appearance of Gates and the horrifying monsters within those mystical portals. That was the First Major Calamity. Now, one hundred years later, the next major calamity has arrived—the subtle invasion of an Ancient Alien species from deep into the Milky Way Galaxy. Its undercurrents spread far and wide, with the threat an apocalyptic one. Yet, that is but the 2nd of Three Major Calamities as per prophesied by the famed prophet, Baba Yaga. The Third Calamity, and the most dangerous of the Calamities, is one that will bring about the true END of the world, but only if the Second Calamity can be overcome by humanity… What does this Third Calamity detail, one might ask…? To know the answer to that, one would have to brave past the first Two Calamities and stare into the abyss, praying to all God's known to man that the Abyss does not stare back unto you…

Reborn As Cursed Alpha's Mate

What happens when a goddess falls in love with a shifter? Asara; the goddess of love, was punished by her father, the god of thunder. Her crime being falling in love with a mortal shifter Alpha. To pay for her sins she was reborn as Cassandra LeBlanc; a mortal Princess in the magical Kingdom of Speldaria. Her family and kingdom, except her middle sister, shunned her for she was born without any magical abilities and she had no recollections of her true identity. Her betrothed, the powerful mage commander of the Speldaria, was unbothered by her. He wished for someone strong. Cassandra’s life was toppled when she was gifted a warrior slave by the mighty Alpha of Dusartine. She was asked to take part in the Yearly Arena Event by collaborating with the warrior. Cassandra who hated ‘The Arena’ with her very breath. A place where blood flowed like wine and life was cheaper than the very air they breathed didn't understand her purpose in it. On top of that, the mysterious warrior affected her in unimaginable ways. His hypnotic gaze unsettled her. His rare essence overwhelmed her. His muscular bronzed body consumed her with sinful thoughts. Even the dreams of her past life plagued her. When ‘The Arena' began the hidden agendas and underlying truths came to light and Cassandra was played a hand of fate. She was left with no choice but to give in and choose a path. The question would be. How will Cassandra grapple once she learns of the curse placed on her? Will she be able to obtain her magical abilities and stand up to her father? Who will help her along the journey? ~Excerpt~ Then she felt him, all of him. All his ruggedness. The strength of his arm. The softness of his lips. The grip of his hand. The warmth of his breath. Every muscle in her body went taut at the implications of sleeping in a man’s arms. She had never slept in a male’s embrace before. Her whole skin tingled like tiny sparks dancing on the very parts that connected with him. The crevices of her brain had these memories which weren't hers. This touch somehow didn't seem foreign to her. She felt safe in his soothing embrace and didn't wish to push him away and yet she knew this was far from appropriate. Cassandra tried to wriggle out of his hold, his arms seemed to be built from iron for they wouldn't budge. The light garment she had worn had lifted from her milky thigh baring it as his bronzed muscular one was draped on it. And now she could sense something poking her back. Her eyes suddenly expanded from the realisation and Cassandra fully panicked. “Let go!” She voiced out, heavily. Siroos slowly lifted his leg and slackened his hold on her waist so she could shuffle away. He had awakened when she had stiffened for the first time but wished to behold what she would try. With eyes blown wide she stole a glance towards the man who had her wrapped in his embrace like a precious treasure, his treasure. His molten gold eyes had flickered open and there was this softness and want with which he stared at her. Those soft brown curls cascaded over his eyes as he forgot to blink, watching the timeless beauty that she was. Her one-of-a-kind fragrance was a torture to his senses. How he wished to grab her dainty ankle, pull her from it and have her sprawled underneath him. To kiss the very skin that oozed such scent which was driving him insane. Instead, he bent his arm and placed it under his cheek using it like a pillow to watch her with desire-filled eyes. The awkward lull between them prolonged as Cassandra cleared her throat. “Did you have to climb on me to sleep?” “It wasn't intentional but was certainly enticing and definitely won't be the last time.” His deeply hypnotic voice was even more alluring this early in the morning as it resonated all around her. The book cover is mine.

My System's name is Symbiot

The native planet where a multitude of people suffering from the consequences of overpopulation and forceful servitude on Earth migrated to Crystallia via gravitational slipstream between planets. It was believed that such a feat was impossible and that a normal human being would not be able to survive such an ordeal, but then one of the most unpredictable physical phenomena in the universe besides the power of God was gravity. The galaxy collision occurred during the era of the slave trade when the supersized galaxy known as Redromida collided with the Milky Way. Naturally, none of the elements touched as the scientists had suggested, but there were phenomenons that they failed to predict. One such occurrence was the impact of the planet Crystallia disturbing the orbit of the Earth. The result of such a proximity between Crystallia, which happened to be as large as the planet Jupiter and Earth was astronomical. The resulting earthquakes and disasters shattered the very concept of living for man, and then the gravitational pathways between the planets, which lasted for more than 2 and a half years, were established. The migration began after several who had made the journey by accident had returned with glad tidings of fertile land, greener pastures, and a safe heaven from the power of the Aro and other European slave traders. The migration lasted until the gravitational slipstream ended; by then, the slave traders had discovered the path, but by the time they made plans to pursue the merchandise, the gravitational link between Earth and Crystallia had come to an end. The majority of people who made the journey were from parts of West Africa, the central parts of Asia, the Red Indians of North America and a few from the northern parts of South America. They had barely settled into their new home when the planets natural immune system was triggered, the Ẹbọras emerged intending to end the branch of humanity that had the gall to make this planet their home. The struggle for survival began; man was able to harness the crystal mined from the planet to forge an energy source, they were able to till the land to produce food, and they built large walls to shelter themselves from the Ẹbọra. As man thrived, man also adapted to this new planet; exposure to this new crystal energy and air, which was not oxygen but breathable, caused a change in man’s biological constitution. The next generation had Evolved into something else. Thus, the story begins. Adewale was killed on the streets of modern-day Lagos in the country called Nigeria; for some reason, God decided that Adewale didn’t deserve death and reincarnated him in this new world called Crystallia. He is forced to grow up quickly because of the sad state of the society he was born into, a society where the rich prey upon the poor using them as stepping stones in achieving their selfish ambitions. As a child, Adewale was forcefully recruited into the military force of the Lagos Shelter, where he was forced to use his useless ability to pave a path towards success. Through the hardship of this world, he managed to gather trusted allies and embarked on a quest of his own to take control of the Lagos shelter and end corruption. What he didn’t count on was the fact that the heart of the greedy thinks only of staying the hunger of their greed and that greed will lead to war, savagery and destruction. Thus the exciting story of Adewale begins, with his closest companion that named itself Symbiot.

Nope! I can't be the Villainess and definitely not male lead's mother!

So, I woke up on the day I was supposed to be executed. You know, normal Tuesday stuff. My head was chilling on a wooden platform, and there was this tiny blade dangling right above my neck. Cute, right? Just waiting to slice through and end my fantastic life. Naturally, I thought, "How do I get out of this mess?" And what genius idea came to mind? Pregnancy! Yep, I faked a pregnancy. And not just any pregnancy — I told the Emperor, the very psycho who ordered my execution, that I was carrying his child. Spoiler alert: I was definitely not. But hey, it worked! I kept my head attached to my body. However, when the universe is determined to mess with you, even a fake baby bump can't save you forever. I kept up the act for a whole month before finally running away. Ah, freedom! No more psycho Emperor, no more looming execution, just me, living my best fake-pregnancy-free life, laughing like I was finally out of a bad soap opera. Or so I thought. Because of course, luck had to have the last laugh. Somehow, I ended up being the mother of the male lead. You heard that right. The male lead. In this ridiculous story, I’m not even his real mother, but here I am, stuck inside the palace with a literal murderer, aka the Emperor, who — plot twist! — killed the male lead’s actual mom and turned her into a freaking energy crystal. And now, I'm supposed to save the day. Me, the villainess who's not even supposed to be here. How? No clue. But one thing’s for sure, luck and I need to have a serious talk. Screw you, luck!

Universal Power System

By the year 2350, Earth was quite different than the futuristic dystopia that was imagined by scientists and comic book authors alike. With greed and corruption more rampant and powerful than ever, human beings were on the brink of ending humanity itself with countless wars and skirmishes. However, before such a tragedy could become a reality for Earth, an unexpected visitor saved humanity from the brink of self-extinction, one who was suffering from the devastating effects of their own extinction event. Humanity had been searching the cosmos for signs of extraterrestrial life for several centuries now, but they didn't expect was to be discovered by an alien race first who were known as the Yalhvi. The Yalhvi were a supernatural race capable of manipulating elements and using other abilities, something that was only considered Sci-Fi up to that point. After suffering from a similar fate in their home world which ultimately led to the destruction of the whole planet, the remaining Yalhvi swore of violence as they scoured the galaxy in search of another suitable planet to call home. A historic peace treaty was forged; granting the Yalhvi residence on Earth. In exchange, the Yalhvi shared their knowledge and revealed the secrets behind their supernatural abilities. With this newfound understanding, humanity slowly began awakening its very own extraordinary powers. Many discoveries were made and humanity advanced forward at an exponential rate. With the help of the Yalhvi, many more secrets were found and questions answered. Humanity expanded its reach much farther than the solar system, finally making contact with dozens of other species within the galaxy and establishing connections, greatly improving their technology thanks to Yalhvi's architecture and design. However, once again humanity fell victim to greed as they didn’t heed the warnings that Yalhvi had given them. Slowly, a hierarchical system emerged, where the strong reigned supreme and the powerless were oppressed. Wars erupted once again, this time posing an even greater threat than nuclear warfare, threatening to destroy all this great progress and risk the very survival of the human race once again. Amidst the chaos, ten courageous warriors arose, standing united to end the devastating conflicts that plagued their world and achieve some semblance of peace. *************** “We welcome humanity to the beginning of a new year and a new century. May we continue to flourish and make many more advancements in the coming years! Here’s to making more cherished memories in 2600!” As the holographic image of a spokesperson projected across Emerald City, announcing the arrival of a brand new year, a young boy named Mako walked through a dimly lit alley, his discontent brewing within. "Humph! Another year of happiness reserved for the privileged and wealthy. For us, it's more of the same," Mako muttered to himself as he continued walking through the alley. Little did he know that a new enemy was about to reveal itself, threatening the destruction of the entire Milky Way Galaxy, and with the dawn of this new year, a path would unveil that destiny had intricately woven for him to become the one who would either save the galaxy or lead to its destruction if he were to fail. Amidst the struggles and injustices, Mako's role in shaping the future would be the key to the survival of trillions of living beings, challenging the oppressive forces that sought to maintain control over everything. *************** If you like this novel then please consider adding them to your Library!
