Shadow House Op

Midnight Shadow

Zulin felt a weird sensation in her body, like she was floating. She gently flicked her eyes open, registering the unfamiliar surroundings around her. "Wasn't I supposed to be dead?" she wondered. She saw a figure in the distance. "Isn't this Nite? What is he doing here? Where am I?" she asked out loud. "Am I dead or alive?" But she already knew the answer to that. She was killed, and she was sure she died. "We meet again Princess Zulin..." She heard a strange voice. "Do I know you?" "But too bad it was so soon.." But if she was dead, what was Nite doing with her? Did he also die or was he killed? And whose voice was she hearing? "Where am I?" she wondered out loud. "In the land of the living.. or .. dead?" She heard same distant voice. "Well, not the Land of the Dead, certainly. But yes, you are right. You are actually dead. And if dead people find themselves at my abode, that only means one thing: maybe you are actually in the Land of the Dead." Zulin shook her head as sadness flashed in her eyes. Yes she is dead, she was killed. But then again, she heard the voice. "No, you are not dead." Confused, she tried to figure out where the voice was coming from and swept her gaze around, but she didn't see anybody. "What do you mean by 'I'm not dead'?" "Don't get me wrong," the voice said again. "I mean, you are dead, but... you are a living dead." "why?" "Because I give life in the land of the dead" "What?" she asked in surprise. "By the way, Princess Zulin, how does it feel to be dead on the day of your marriage?" "It feels like being... a lost female protagonist in a horror movie" Zulin responded. "No, you're the antagonist Zulin.." the voice chuckled. "Why were you killed?" Zulin didn't respond, that's right she might actually be the antagonist here. "And you sister is getting married to your fiancee.. your mate.."

House of Stone

Two friends. One mysterious 'System'. A second chance at life. Adrian and Marcus never expected to die young. Yet, when they awaken in a cosmic void, a voice gives them a compensation deal: reincarnation in a brand-new world, with their memories and sense of being intact. Given a finite pool of Karmic Points, they must carefully choose their advantages, their starting position, and even the world itself where they will be reborn. Adrian—ever the strategist—opts for long-term gain, while Marcus, impulsive and bold, just craves excitement. Together, they make a fateful decision: they will be reborn as a minor noble brothers in the Azura Federation, a land of shifting allegiances, merchant-noble, and cutthroat politics. When the time comes to spend their last remaining Karmic Points, Marcus proposes a radical gamble: rather than buying minor advantages, they sacrifice everything for unrestricted access to the System’s hidden exchange mechanics. The deal is struck—but at a cost they don’t fully understand. Now, as they navigate a world of noble houses, military conflicts, and hidden agendas, Adrian and Marcus must use every advantage at their disposal to not only survive this life—but to try finding a way of securing their place in the next cycles of life in the far future. What happens if they fail? If their Karmic points reach zero when they die in this new life they are about to embark? The System refuses to say. With magic, danger, and unseen cosmic forces lurking in the shadows, the two must play the ultimate game of strategy. But as they rise, one other question always looms over them: Did they even have a chance to break the System… or did the System merely just trap them in an even deeper game?
