Living your life as an ordinary teenager in the city, you do whatever a teenager does and that means high school, parties, boy problems and fights. You and your family later move out of the city to a small town where everything you have believed is being questioned to be reality or not. You meet new people at a new environment in a new reality. Will you survive? Will you fit in? One thing is for sure, you won't live a normal life.

Teenage life is not easy. Especially in this generation. I went through a lot, and sometimes felt alone and had no one to talk to. Writing, music and reading became my comfort zones. I know there are many out there feeling the same way. I wish for them to know that they are not alone. So by sharing something this personal, I really hope to help the teenagers out there and specifically the teenage girls out there. Know that you are special and you are a shining star. One minute, she was spiraling out of her scooter, watching in horror as her fried chicken flew into the horizon. The next minute, she was signing the contract to become a mother to his sons while staring into his glacier blue eyes. "The contract is effective as of now" He announced, as he dropped the pen. His brow was lifted challengingly and his voice reverberated around the room, bounced and sent zings of electricity down her spine. She tilted her head to a side, studying him covertly as she smiled menacingly. She was going to make him regret his decision. Let the games begin..!

This is my thing, my irrational thoughts, my unstable emotions, written into a poem to be controlled, so don't worry, and get angry, cause these are my humble and not so intelligent morale values, so sit back and enjoy the work of this humble one.

Today is the start of our high school debut. the day went by without a hitch like any other day until I saw my best friend and my childhood friend in an empty classroom. Did I hear that right? Did she just confessed her feelings? long story short, I love my childhood friend. But seeing her being in love with my best friend. hmm.. Stay tuned for a boring story of mine.

She wanted to live a normal life like any teenage girl but how normal is normal?? can she truly derive satisfaction in this world??

“Elise…” I called out to her. I wanted to say something but my brain could not form any words to utter. So, her name in my lips lingered and silence enveloped us. I glimpsed at her peaceful face and, as if on cue, my nerves relaxed. I gently touched her cheeks using my thumb then moved to her lips. Everything is probably an understatement of what I am willing to do for her. Beyond everything, that is, if it exists. I moved closer to reach the seat belt and quickly strapped her. I also adjusted my seat and strapped my own. Then, I started the car engine and drove off. My mind wandered off our first meeting. She didn’t appear promising to me when she descended the doorstep of their house. She walks extremely slow and she hangs her head down like a sinner. The cuffs of her long sleeves were constantly pulled to hide her hands. Then, she looked up to meet my gaze. Her eyes were puffy and it was very obvious that she spent an hour, and probably more, crying. Nevertheless, she smiled at me, giving me an access to view her white teeth. She, then, accepted the flowers that I was offering. Her nails were clean and bare, no paint. Then, she muttered her first word to me, “Thank you.” After that, she went inside.
