Why did I fall in Love in the first place: Love, lies, and privilege
At City Light High School, 17-year-old Selina finds herself inexplicably drawn to Romeo Smit, the school's wealthiest and most handsome senior, who is known for being cool, calm, and somewhat aloof.
Despite their vastly different social standings, Selina's fascination with Romeo deepens as their paths cross. He unexpectedly protects her from harm, revealing a glimpse of warmth beneath his icy exterior.
However, Selina feels discouraged from approaching him due to their social differences. Yet, Romeo's sudden interest in her, along with his mysterious gaze, leaves Selina questioning whether there is more to their connection than meets the eye and whether their social divides can be bridged.
As Selina navigates her feelings, Priscilla, the school's queen bee and Romeo's alleged girlfriend emerges as a threat, poised to destroy Selina's hopes and unravel the threads of her blossoming connection with Romeo.
