Scars of Sacrifice
The human population on the planet Nivorix has given up on full-fledged warfare. They instead arrange mini tournaments between groups of individuals. They do not, however, fight on their own. They employ shape-shifting mechanical beings known as Genos, which are human creations powered by Scori crystals. The GOC (Geno Official Committee) watches the wars and reigns as the world's dominant authority. However, there are some who want to topple them and revert the planet to its former state: a war zone. The GOC is on to it, and with the aid of ace "knight" Cassandra Payton, they usually manage to put a stop to it. Cassandra, on the other hand, has her own issues and a history she prefers not to confront. She is assisted by a fighting squad led by the legendary Doctor Salos and his two sons. But no one appears to be able to assist Cassandra, and her terrible secret doesn't make it any easier. Scars from the past are difficult to repair.
