Echoes of Death

In a world where power is everything, and nothing is ever given without a price, Damien, an outsider marked by a Primordial Echo, must navigate a reality that he never meant to inhabit. He was trapped here by Emil, the protagonist of his own novel. Emil’s arrival in this world has rewritten everything Damien thought he understood about his creation. And worse, Emil now has a wish, one Damien is bound to grant, but what that wish truly is, Damien cannot yet comprehend. Trapped within the world he once wrote, bound by a mysterious force to its laws and twisted hierarchies. His only connection to the realm is the very mark on his wrist, a power that defies the system that governs life and death. But survival in this world requires more than raw strength. It demands mastery over Echoes, fragments of power left behind when others perish. Each Echo offers the promise of unimaginable abilities or the threat of utter destruction. As Damien struggles with the betrayal of being trapped in a world he designed and the mystery of Emil’s wish, his path forward lies in collecting Echoes, each one a dangerous gamble, but none of them will bring him closer to understanding Emil’s desire. Allies and enemies blur together, and every step toward strength seems to lead him further into a web of uncertainty. In a realm where power is bought with blood, and the future is shaped by forces beyond his control, Damien must face the ultimate question: Can he reclaim his own fate, or will Emil’s wish be the final twist in a story he never wanted to live? **** A/N: Hello and welcome to my first novel. I've always loved writing stories and have believed I had, at least somewhat, a knack for it. Writing is something I'm truly passionate about, and I’ve put a lot of thought into this novel. However, this is my first time writing something like this, so if you notice any mistakes, inconsistencies, or parts that just don’t make sense, please feel free to point them out. I’m open to all feedback. Anyway, I hope you enjoy reading about Damien's journey.
