Rewriting The Fate
Synopsis
Mina, a modern-day girl, wakes up to find herself reincarnated in her least favorite otome game—but not as the beloved heroine or even the cunning villainess. Instead, she’s an NPC, a nameless maid doomed to the background of a predetermined story. With no intention of following the game’s ridiculous plotline, Mina vows to derail the narrative and carve her own path in a world where fate seems set in stone.
Her journey takes a dangerous turn when she discovers a mysterious journal hinting at her existence as an “anomaly,” capable of disrupting the threads of fate. As she struggles to stay out of the spotlight, Mina unwittingly catches the attention of Caspian, the enigmatic duke destined for the heroine. Drawn to her sharp wit and defiance, he finds himself falling for the one woman who refuses to play by the rules of the game.
With the charming yet suspicious Kael offering his assistance, and powerful forces working to keep the story on track, Mina must navigate court politics, hidden secrets, and her growing feelings for the duke. Will she succeed in dismantling the game’s narrative, or will fate tighten its grip, forcing her into the role she so desperately wants to avoid?
In this twist on the classic otome game trope, love, rebellion, and deception intertwine, creating a story where even the NPC has the power to rewrite destiny.
