WSA 2023 entry. ON HIATUS - The writer is taking a break from this story. It is incomplete. Fiona never felt like she belonged to the modern day world. So when an enchanted gem sends her to another time and place, where vicious beasts and dragons lurk she has no trouble facing her new reality. What surprises her the most is that the devilishly handsome man she mistakes for a barbaric beast, is really a dragon knight, a hero and protector in this new world. Withdrawn from society, since a failed marraige and death of his wife, Tiamat had become a notorious recluse, showing interest in little besides his obession of owning his own keep and training the men necessary to retain and defend the castle.
